It's probably not noticeable without it being pointed out. I definitely know it's there though as I can feel the solid core passing right through my ear (though it's gotten softer as the years progress).

That's more than likely down to just how modern stylings have changed over the years. The original iPhone was the hight of technical elegance once, but now looks like a bit like a toy. Also context on marketing helps:

When I was like..maybe 5-6 or so. I know it'll be have been when I was young, though after parents got divorced. Apparently I agreed to it, but at that age what consent can be given? Started "forgetting" to put it in while I started secondary school. And it wasn't overly weird there was a few lads with pierced ears but yeah not a great thing to have. Annoyingly my youngest sister on my mum's side has also recently had her ears pierced despite my step-dads insistence neither of them would get ear piercings until 16.

1983 Video Game Crash. It was made to look like a toy, even came with ROB for that purpose. (Though why the continued the trend into SNES I'm not sure on)

Good debate food. When companies promote from within, the person they promote typically has "Executive" in their title, if that helps narrow down the field.

Famicom: NES: Slightly different things. Personally it just looks liek they're going with a Red/Blue White/Black kinda thing and not everything is related to their past consoles (most, but not everything)

I had my ear pierced when I was younger and still resent my mother for it to this day and likely will until my grave (for as long as the hole remains really). I'm generally against tattoos, but I've a feeling I'll likely come across some idea that'll be "the one" that I'll get done.
  9. Oh yeah, it's a huge issue with the heat and battery drain. It's a pretty sloppily done port tbh, back button doesn't work properly for one. Doesn't bode well for Dropchord.

    Broken Age

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-09-02-broken-age-to-feature-jack-black-and-jennifer-hale So assuming they're not doing this pro bono I think might have identified where some of the budget got blown.

  12. You meaning 10,000,000? If so, yeah it's not much of a "oh I beat it, let's do some more" kind of game. As for MMoJ, god it does get pretty grindy. It'd be a tad easier to do if you could have more than 4 heroes in your base at a time, and if the UI was a bit better. You play it on iOS or Android?

Wouldn't surprise me if this was kind of the original intended sequel compared to the somewhat rushed and maligned DA2.
  14. Apparently all the other trailers weren't official before this.
  15. This was free on Play store awhile back. Ended up noticing I had it last week. It's not bad.
  16. Totally forgot to post this the other day. Like other big images I'd suggest an "open in new tab" than using the light box.

    2DS

I just think it's stupid it's so top heavy. And overall it's just too large, they say it's built for under 7's and the lack of hinge would show that, but the buttons and everything else is still not overly kiddie friendly. Also the name is modern-Nintendo terrible. Even Nvidia have better naming schemes. Also you guys joke but I've got Thursday on G+.
  18. Some more of the CryEngine stuff. This one a bit more "hey here's what it does" than "here's what it's used in". First time Ryse has looked compelling.
  19. You might have seen bits about this talk already. (this was probably better here, and it's literally TV Show discussion)
  20. http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/a5d84fc50b/dean-norris-spoils-everything-else Dean Norris of Breaking Bad spoils everything else so you can focus on Breaking Bad. (hint: there's spoilers for everything that's not Breaking Bad) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4W9aYkyZtc I do love animatics. This one was for Avengers, and I can see why it got removed, wouldn't have added much (though Avengers could have been different.)
  21. Gamescom gameplay (actual gameplay!) trailer.
  22. Assuming you mean Nomad? Mystery, then. That was the one thing that bugged me the most with the story. I was under the impression that Crysis 3 addresses this but I haven't played it yet so I have no idea. Not sure where the game lost you but that's how I understood it. So yeah, I never really got the sense that there was some plot mix-ups (wasn't the leak only a few weeks before release anyway?). Just a really convoluted shitty plot. Yeah Nomad. @FDS Well of course you of all folks had no issue with controls.
  23. Crysis 2 Pretty fun game overall, though I'd say it has issues with bullet sponge enemies (the last guys you fight are a nightmare, they seem to be only affected by one weapon so when that runs out it's jsut plonking a ton of bullets into them. Oh and when they die you get 5000 nanopoints, which is significantly higher than most others but also pointless as they're the last enemies you fight.) Controls could be awkward and clunky, especially as scrolling between weapons you'd end up going through your two guns, the JAW, grenade and then C4. When really should have just gone through two weapons (having three would be nice) and put grenades, C4 n the JAW on other buttons. And you'd scroll cos the other option was hitting 1. And in an intense fire fight wanting to swap into close up shotgun you'd have the habit of hitting Q instead of 1 and losing your armour. Not fun at close range. Their choice of how nanopoint boosts are allocated seemed weird too. Oh there was one bit where I was running away from an explosion, and went "but I went left!" tested a theory and took my hands off kb/m and found my guy was still running. Storywise...maybe it's an issue with me not fully finishing Crysis n Warhead, but what happened to the first guy? Also storywise is that early game you get shot at assuming you're the infected Prophet in the suit, but then folks find out you're actually Alcatraz. And for most of the game you're Alcatraz. Then randomly everyone switches over to calling you Prophet again. I assume something got overlooked and bits of old game plot ended up still kept in (maybe to combat the leaked game?), or maybe no one paid attention to the VA left in the game and used old soldier outbursts instead of writing new ones?
  24. So Gamescom is over. What did they do to the on-off switch?
