I saw a good comment that this would have done better as a mini-series instead of a film. There's quite a bit of lore to expand upon and play with. I'd have said the film wrapped up pretty neatly to be looking for a sequel.

Assuming it's a MoS sequel (which is what I think it is), as I've said in the status post and on twitter I can see it being a Superman vs Batman type thing*, such as Dark Knight Returns Ethan posted above. Especially going off the end of MoS . Batman is the anti-thesis to the idea of Superman. An alien being that is akin to a god directing the flow of humanity, versus a regular guy (with lots and lots of money) with a grudge beating the shit out of bad guys. Batman has generally not been keen on Superman, or most of JLAs, unaccountability. His resentment at being one of the few non-powered members(or non-members) of course has nothing to do with it. *in so far as they oppose each other. The direct confrontations between them are rare and usually outside of main canon, but even in-canon Batman wanders around with kryptonite in his utility belt. Which Lex Luthor is only other guy to do that. Incidentally given the scale MoS goes to, including Batman, aka Bruce Wayne, aka of Wayne Industries, a competitor/sometimes partner of Luthorcorp into this film is about the only way you'd be able to make Lex believable in MoS universe.

Aren't Apple usually pretty good with repairs/replacements? Failing that..get a new one? I'd assume Apple still do the same keyboard, looks like one in their current range at least. If you love it and it's still a model that's available I wouldn't see reason in getting a different brand and model as a replacement.

You'll have to tell me how it goes. I played the beta of the original and it was a bit shitty (to the point the game got taken back to the drawing board name and all). Some interesting ideas and mix of Civ-like play with RPG elements. Just kind of really badly done. Which is a bummer as they tied it into a pretty interesting Steamworks-like competitor too, but that was doomed by the flagship game it came with.

Hmm? I use a controller and I've never had this happen. What are you doing exactly when this occurs? Also the beta password might be expired now. It worked for me. You should email the dev that mask idea or twit him or something. That's a good recommendation for HLM2. Taking a breather normally, then go back to the game and it goes al "nehhguifhf" and it's loading the main menu up as if I'd just booted the game. I've hit the devs up, guess we'll see if much comes of it. As for the beta code, mis-read it. It's not him, it's hlm.

I do enjoy the Tony mask. It's Grrrreat. I'd say one issue I have is that you have to complete the whole chapter, or it counts as doing none of the chapter. Which can kinda suck when some chapters have weird bosses that don't quite follow the usual rules (anyone noticed dogs don't either? They not only hone in, but doors don't work on them). Double suck with the game occasionally knocking you back to the main menu (I think that's more an issue with the key bindings of the controller when paused though) Kinda wish it'd have a mask selector when restarting. If you're figuring trying to complete the level with a different mask you've got to quit all the way through to the main menu then reload the level up again from there and then start the level with a new mask. Bit of a slog for what could be solved with a "Change Mask" option in the pause menu. The beta patch password doesn't work btw.

The free expansions are essentially the updates. Kinda miffed Disharmony hasn't gone on sale but ES:Gold had. So it was only like £1.50 more to get ES:Gold than it was for someone already owning the game to just get the expansion. btw I'm up for giving the MP a shot at some point, only done SP so far. Not overly good at it mind, lots of nuances.

Does it add much to the 360 controller? I find that much more faster and fluid to play with, but you lose out on the shift/look ability (unless there's an option I'm missing somewhere). Also it'd be nice if guns were a tad more useful. At least to counter the fact they make enemies much harder to get to, yet are kinda naf for you to use yourself.
