It seems slightly wider, but other than mostly the same except for the change in thumbstick design which is, as mentioned already, usually the main complaint. Maybe start and select is underneath? Also I guess one question is that grill a mic or a speaker. It's an obvious advancement given Vita, while not being as drastic a change as the Wii U. Though I've a feeling it may end up like Sixaxis tech. But given the prevalence of touchscreen devices and it also being the same style as Ouya controller, it might get a bit more use in the whole ease of porting thing. You could play Temple Run much easier on that controller than a play DS3.
edit: Actually zooming in a little bit, the select at least is quite visible (though unlabeled making me think this is a tad more prototypey-devkitey than consumer version will be), I'd assume a Start is in same place but shitty quality image makes it hard to make out the detail.
