Topic Description (subtitles) works again. (Though not atm in New Content view) edit: Now in New Content too.

@Goh: I don't think so, especially as the current rumours are the PS4 n Xbox 3 are basically just IBM-compatibles inside so porting to or ,probably likely given current next-gen titles known, from PC should be simpler than current gen. Of course there will be a ton of exclusive first n second party titles since they need to make their new console look pretty awesome. @TME: Most console multi-plats now are already gimped by X360 capabilities. I'd say it depends how much the Xbox 3 sells on which would become lead platform for 8th gen development (though as already said I reckon PC if current spec rumours are true)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's the mechanisms in place to just play with friends.

My sentence and the YT thumbnail don't exactly match up. (Spoilers: Ben Kingsley isn't playing Stark) And yeah RDJ got all the good genes.
-
Intense gaze Stark.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lvG0jm0B5Y Man young Brent Spinner has a real Loki look going on. Oh and LeForge. Oh my god. http://www.thetitlethemovie.com/ It's a poster you can buy.

You can play with/against bots. Or hold off to the weekend and join us in playing and then you'll only get 9 death threats.

From what I understood of the blog post on sandbox, it still works in multiplayer. So it's jsut a case of making a private region and controlling all the cities in that region.

Well there's always that Final Fantasy XV built close to 95-05 era FFs that could woo me. I dunno, I guess not many games and potential games I'm massively looking forward to at the moment. Be interesting to see what they could bring to the table in tech/functions/features and what games that might lead to.

Some recent gaming additions n such: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drummerGames.px14 - 14px. It plays sort of like a phone based SuperMeatBoy. For a free app it's pretty damn swish. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.kiip.skeemo - Only recently got this. It's a puzzle game, kinda neat. Bit of a thinking game, and fun when you get a combo up. It's more to be tried than explained. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cypressworks.changelogviewer - It's a changelog viewier. Great for seeing changes to your apps. Should really be something built into Play Store (though this also works with Amazon Appstore apps too). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epicgames.EpicCitadel - Epic Citadel. It's a UE3 demo now out for Android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.distractionware.superhexagon - this is out for Android now too. I'm not much of a fan tbh. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.czarnomorski.theme.dcikonz - Grab relevant launcher, make your phone pretty and (mostly) consistent.

Yeah, I've still large swath of console library to get through and PC is doing me just fine.

It's in my LoveFilm queue along with Ni No Kuni. Gonna play it co-op with my housemate. Since my last lego game in co-op was with a nine year old and goddammit nine year old suck at games.

Just to reinforce that. And god does it look massively fake. Thankfully (though not in capturing it) it's a pretty short scene. There's one directly with his feet next to a sunken Aragorn carrying two hobbits too. Edit: For relevance to the thread I'm playing a bit of Stacking and a bit of Saint's Row 3. If I put my mind to it I can probably have Stacking complete by tomorrow morning since Howlongtobeat says it's only 4-5 hours long.

Started watching this as part of "Operation find something to watch now all the shows I carry on picking to watch finish/get cancelled". Picking a show that's currently 4 series in and is about 10 episodes a series and only 20 minutes per each show was probably not the best idea. But still it's pretty good. I'm nearing end of series 2 at the moment. I should probably pull back on the pace. The character development is weird for some there's hardly any at all, yet others like Cyril they've spent a fair chunk in expanding them a fair bit. It's a bit uneven, but not like it's ruining my enjoyment of it.

Dota 2 | Basic guide Dota 2 Alt-Tab Guides Two links via Win Laik Pya. First one is a kind of general game guide, what the concepts are and such. Still plenty left out, and to a degree more than might be absorbed by someone who is yet to play it. Second one is great for learning certain characters, it gives suggested builds n such. I'd guess the general thing is to pick a couple characters, and stick with them. Work out what kind of style you prefer.

From Dust It's very pretty, somewhat calming. Pretty damn short. My playtime is listed as 8 hours, though some of that'll be afk and some repeating missions all over again after it crashed (I say crashed, I've a feeling From Dust still has always-on DRM still and my wi-fi dongle is wobbly of late. One time on the crash definitely had a uPlay error on saying lost connection). But yeah on the shortness it's about 10-12 levels long, and for the most part it feels like tutorial, until the last level where you get given complete sandboxy power n just told to build to hearts content. Kinda feel it could have had tutorial stuff cramped up more in initial levels and had the latter half at least be slightly more puzzle solving/sandboxyness. The AI is pretty dumb, which in an indirect-control game can be a killer (literally. they'll walk into lava and raging torrents and then be all "Help!".) OR not so much dumb as there's very little control can be done, you can tell them to go to pillars a, b or c. But you can't do too much to shape their path (so while you can literally carve them a nice path, they'll likely still pick the path with a lava flow in the middle). Oh and I played it on PC, as far as that stuff goes basic settings, it forgot my control settings every time though so I'd have to go in and swap over to control pad again I loaded up the game. I'd say good, and for under £3 I paid for it a fun game and good purchase, but could have been superb in some many little ways.

I'm pretty sure one of the tattoos minimises/removes fall damage. But been a while since I last touched FC3.

We played Catan last night (and then some Munchkin n Munchkin booty but done those before). Pretty good fun, fairly simple to get the hang of, obviously a case of getting a good spot and camping out. We had a surprisingly large number of 7's rolled. I got longest road, but as I'd not gotten any cities I came last

http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/185894/Its_official_XNA_is_dead.php XNA is to be phased out. Writing was on the wall with Windows 8 and WinRT, it does make future frameworks from MS look shakey, and also gives some insight into Next Xbox too (you wouldn't phase out the framework for making XBLIG games before next console release if you intended to support them on your next console). I guess on the upside there's plenty of other frameworks and tools out there competing for developers attention.

http://nraila.org/Issues/FactSheets/Read.aspx?ID=15 NRA has a list of organisations and people who have promoted or donated to causes that are anti-gun. (Via Sir Patrick Stewart) As one article has noted, you'd surely want a list of supporters that long, not opponents?

http://blogs.nvidia.com/2013/01/how-project-shield-got-built/ An article on the concept to unveiling of it.

Yeah you can record n publish to Youtube, I think Just Cause 2 is only game to support it though.

Suddenly the general feeling over here is it's PS4 announce too.

It kinda sucks that I find Blue unplayable now. And there's no "Water Blue" (yes I know Leaf Green is sort of the same thing. And yes I may one day pick it up. Prefer 2nd gen though.)
