  1. That's a huuugge shift from the original "around May". More time for other games I guess.
  2. So after making a cup of tea or coffee I put the spoon down next to the kettle for the next cup of tea or coffee I'll make in an hour or so. I come back and the spoon is gone. So I get a spoon out of the drawer and make a cup of coffee and put the spoon down next to the kettle for next time. I then come back and the spoon is gone. It's a fucking spoon, its only use all day will be to take sugar or coffee from a bag/jar and put it into a cup. It will then stir the concoction of boiling hot water and tea/coffee/sugar/milk, then be flicked over the sink and put next to the kettle. The spoon, hitting temperatures of around 60oC+, is relatively sterile. The only thing it has come in contact with is the same thing I'll be scooping out of a jar an hour or so later. What it's instead doing is now being put into a pile of plates with various sauces over them, or laying in a small puddle of stagnant water in the washing up bowl. It's not like I'm cutting up bacon with the spoon or I've used it to stir some food up. Instead we end up going through all the spoons in the drawer in a day, in substantially less than a day if one of us decides to have a yoghurt or grapefruit or something. Only need one spoon.
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-21262308 Scottish Independence question changed from "Do you agree that Scotland should be an independent country?" to "Should Scotland be an independent country?". Cumbria County Council have decided against continuing plans to bury UK nuclear waste there. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-21253673 Worth noting they currently house 70% of UK nuclear waste in Sellafields in pools of water so I don't know where they get this impression they're not already known for storing of nuclear waste. All gov't is asking is that instead of being in what are meant to be temporary pools of water, to shove it all underground. Secures jobs for the next hundred years at least too. (The local council which contains Sellafield actually did mostly vote for continuing with the process, so it's more the county council at large that's a bit silly) Also Polish is England's second biggest language (third in UK cos of Welsh) and also the country's premier supplier of horse meat burgers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21259401 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21267262
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-21251726 David Bradley, aka Argus Filch of Harry Potter and Solomon from Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, will be portraying William Hartnell (actor who played the first Doctor) in the 50th anniversary drama "An Adventures in Space and Time". It was brought up after airing of Dinosaurs on a Spaceship on the resemblance.
  5. Also known as a casserole. Cooked in a casserole dish. Usually got a fair bit of sauce/gravy to it. Vegetables along the lines of potato, carrots, onion etc. Meat along lines of stew steak, sausages, chicken. Vaguely close to a stew in what goes into it but not in how it's cooked. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2451650/family-meals-chicken-and-veg-casserole http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1940681/sausage-and-bean-casserole- http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3923/beef-and-vegetable-casserole
  6. And I'd assume FDS is responding to me, but yeah it's not a casserole that I cooked. Unless a casserole is very different in the US (this is the whole "biscuits n gravy" place after all.)
  7. I threw together some fridge items to make two days worth of a rather nice meal. These being half an onion, a pepper, two slices of bacon, a chicken breast(from freezer) and....a pot of chilli sauce that came with a takeaway on the weekend I figured might come in handy one day. Cooked chicken in oven, sliced up bacon and fried it off, then cut up the chicken ,threw it and the veg into pan with bacon, stirred it up, added sauce and emptied over pasta. My main surprise being that the takeaway sauce made it all rather nice. I kinda figured it'd be palatable at best. This was a sauce designed to go over donner kebab after all.
  8. Just gonna temporarily shift y'all over to the default skin.

They've only just recently gone like in the past 15 minutes or so. Same with the "New Topic" tab. There was a glitch, they both affect skins. Trying to figure out which is the culprit.

Reply to a thread would'ya. Need to see if the "unread" works.

Hoorah it works. It was the forum icons busting shit up. The documentation is ever so slightly out of date. Has you replace a part of the skin that's kinda vital it seems.

    Help!

Yeah I see what you mean now too. (As I've mentioned many times I viewed the forum via "New Content" unlike most others going subforum-by-subforum). I'll look into it. edit: As a temporary measure you can just use the default IP.Board theme while I figure stuff out. Can't say I'm happy that fixing one thing immediately breaks something else which fixing that breaks something else and so on so forth for eternity.

    Wii U

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21257536 Wii U not selling as well as expected. Forecast to shift only 4million units this year. I'm getting mixed signals on the profit/loss side of things though so maybe someone can decipher that part.

    Help!

The Array thing should be fixed. Basically as it's a custom skin I use there's a tool in the admin panel I can use that'll compare the custom skin to the new default skin, highlight the differences and let you merge the new changes into the custom skin. Seems it's had a fair change in this update. Thankfully the customising of the skin I've done is minimal so was safe enough to merge 99% of the conflicts.

    Torchlight

    Help!

If I knew off the top of my head I'd easily have fixed it. As it stands I currently don't know but it's non-critical. As for the quotes:
  14. https://store.eu.square-enix.com/emea_uk/ Square are having a sale, pretty damn good prices on various PC games. Unsure if it's the same on the US side mind. Most of them are Steam based too (FFVII isn't). So if you didn't get games in the sale last week on Steam now is your shot.

    Sim City V

http://www.simcity.com/en_US/blog/article/simcity-sandbox-mode So there is a Sandbox mode of sorts where you can "cheat" and destroy at whim and so on so forth. They've sure taken their time in bringing it up.
  16. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-01-29-warren-spectors-juntion-point-studios-shuttered Junction Point, creator of Epic Mickey, has been closed. Folks have noted that it's timed suspiciously close to announcement of Disney Infinite. Also seen speculation Spector might be picked up by Valve, which is reasonable speculation. Quite a creative veteran.
  17. http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/17iw9q/so_we_built_kings_landing_in_minecraft_heres_a/c85wgce Sweet Jesus.
  18. I was kinda curious if it was like a full Aliens collection, so including Prometheus (given the timing) and AvP films too.
  19. So what does that include then? (Since "Anth" isn't a number like quad n tri)

    World Politics

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-21237254 Queen Beatrix is to abdicate. Will likely stir up some conversation on the matter over here (though general impression I get is Liz is fine, it's Charles they'd want to abdicate)
  21. Man, flashbacks to the old school videos. I've a feeling that you'll see that building in-game.
