Gotta say part of my apprehension with Sim City V and it's whole online DRM dealy-o is just how bad their log-in systems have been and what should be a simple process of signing up to a beta isn't helping. Also not helped in cleaning out my inbox past few days digging up my old Spore support emails. That was a fun journey into EA games and DRM.

It wouldn't be a surprise, they've given it a shot with both PSP and more so with Vita so I guess it's an inevitable path. Hopefully like the Wii U there will be the option for DS3 though. the Gamepad in it's current incarnation hardly seems the optimal gaming peripheral. Of course as many have noted, this wouldn't be the first time Sony were set to abandon Dualshock only to come right back to the old faithful.

PEGI is the same as ESRB, industry regulated. It's just it's government enforced. Because there's not much point of a regulation if there's nothing backing it. That'd probably be where you're seeing confusion from foreigners. Especially if bringing up that doing this law would waste money, when it's hardly like ESRB as it exists in it's current pointless form is free.

One of my housemates is leaving at some point to be replaced my Nick, the other housemates past not-quite-boyfriend. He was going to be joining us when we looked at a four bed but opted to stay with his parents. I did warn him living with parents post-uni is not a good idea. I dunno how it is in the US but the games that are "better with Kinect" are specifically labeled as such Same with Move Thus, especially as it's an add-on, it's safe to assume that not all games available on X360 and PS3 work with Kinect and Move. As best I can tell there's no such labeling, even on the back of the boxes, that state games work with this TV/Gamepad switching feature.

Well I was more highlighting that we don't have a blanket ban since the impression I've seen from many US based posters is they think other countries have a complete and utter ban on gun ownership which makes many americans balk when it isn't the case. I did highlight, as many have done that there is likely a deep seated cultural thing within the US that certainly makes it more prevalent, but as Ethan has noted gun ownership is one of the easiest things to resolve and certainly won't hurt. Also as Ethan noted it's a bit hypocritical to say everyone is being "emotional soccer moms" and proceed to act the way you have.
