  1. Well she's bodded off to her home, gonna do some uni work. Promised to come over n cook some point. (I supplied poach eggs, and new cooking technique, for lunch)
  2. As I said, "Bioware branded". I've known it's not exactly the same studio they bought years back once they started turning Mythic into a Bioware studio. It's still the same Mythic, same studio, staff, back-catalogue, just they get to put the Bioware logo on their future games instead. It's basically "EA RPG" much like there is EA Sports now. The Bioware that made Baldurs Gate, NWN, KOTOR etc is only 1/7th of the Bioware that exists now.
  3. From the VGA trailer we find out that this is from a "New Bioware Studio". That brings the total count of Bioware studios to 7, EA will soon have nearly as many Bioware branded studios as EA branded ones.
  4. This was on r/skyrim. This is why I don't own a horse. (if it's not firing up childhood memories then you have no soul) It's via a skin mod btw http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=596
  5. I gained a roommate at 3am last night. Stood out my door all weepy and equipped with clothes and simple bedding. Turns out my sisters housemates are huge dicks. So got the kettle on, had some tea, chatted about how her housemates are dicks that don't let her put heating on and keep her up until 4am. Watched some videos, had general chit chat n sorted her out in the spare room at about 5am. She's currently still in bed catching up on lost sleep.
  6. Yes it is. It's Googles stock example ICS phone. That's pretty much the whole point of the Nexus series. Also who isn't using the search button? Use it for apps, general google searches, music, within IMDB, amazon, maps, wordpress, docs etc etc. It'll be why it's something modded back in after just a few days is pretty much cos it is widely used. It's space that isn't dedicated to anything else. The wildfire n Wildefire S it's like spot the difference, once has the "trackball" and the other is just blank chin. It also doesn't much care if it's gloves either, which means you have a back-up input for when the screen becomes useless as winter sets in.
  7. But my phone has a dedicated search button already :/ It's even more unnerving it's something you need to mod back in. It's hardly like it's an unused button in an OS developed by a search company. Probably explains the in-app search buttons that have been popping up recently. Always felt it was a bit redundant, didn't realise ICS was getting rid of the dedicated button. The trackball allows for accuracy with text and is also used in a handful of games. It's part of the original hardware specifications so some apps still develop with the assumption the phone comes with one.
  8. I'm feeling like one of the few that equally liked them all. (maybe even had one as my GOTY last year)
  9. I get you were trying to be helpful. Just saying, the fact of the matter is they are something sold as part of the bundle not just a case of them posting on twitter "subversion up on Fileplanet, have at it!". And rules are rules., don't take it to heart.
  10. Except they are products being sold. They're part of the bundle. Subversion isn't exactly purely a tech demo either since it is the prototype of the game they've being working on the past few years. It's much the same as the Jack Claw alpha in a previous bundle. It never ended up leading to a full game, but it was still part of the bundle and not just something they were giving away.
  11. Thank you for what? I've just had to put in a little extra mod-work now. Just because it's DRM free does not mean it's to be freely distributed.
  12. It's hardly like they're slaughtering cows next to the till.
  13. I'm not exactly sure that's what they want you to do
  14. I'm really unsure if I want to pick it up purely for the prototypes. I own all the games already (maybe if they're giftable on Steam?) just want the prototypes.
  15. I completed Homefront in slightly less than 4 hours. Yeah...well...your mum!
  16. You know your food has to pass by an abattoir regardless right? This just cuts out the middleman. They have a cafe on the end too. If there was space they could even add like a petting zoo of sorts on the other end. You arrive, pet the cow n feed it some hay, go into the shop part, pick up some burgers then go and finish off with a steak and ale pie n chips. They also sell eggs by the gross, and not many places do.
  17. This hadn't been posted yet? I saw it on r/skyrim, then I saw RPS post on it too, their post said it was fake but when I queried their conclusion I came back few hours later to find they had no sign of saying it was fake n had even included instructions on how to do it yourself. Skyrim is much closer to Fallout 3 than it is to Oblivion. (Though as I noted earlier it's missing the awesome companion wheel New Vegas had). This "Falout-ness" is both in the perk system (though that's a hybrid between Oblivion n FO3), the environments, and the pile of ash left over from when you kill a mage with a laser rifle.
  18. http://xkcd.com/980/ hot damn.
  19. I'd been hankering after steak for a while. Since my mum lives not far from a combi abattoir-wholesale foods place I got some rump steak (proper fillets were £22.50/kilo and I wasn't that confident in my cooking skills) and some vegies alongside it. It turned out pretty fucking sweet. You can just see from the top of the image peeking through how I like my steak
  20. http://www.humblebundle.com/ I'm curious if I should start using spoiler warnings in this thread.
  21. While the rest of the game leaves a lot to be desired the lighting is pretty nice compared to Oblivion. The textures are worse, but the lighting really does make the overall graphics of Skyrim seem a substitutional step up from Skyrim.
  22. I wouldn't be too fussed for the Galaxy Nexus anyway. tbh I'm not liking the idea of removing hardware buttons with ICS. Hoping it's an optional thing, already a bit miffed that the Wildfire S (the newer version of my current phone) is missing the trackball. It's pretty nifty.
