As far as Rebels go you have: Kanan - a Jedi Ahsoka - an ex-jedi. (after she was falsely brought to trial for bombing the Jedi temple she wasn't too keen on them anymore). Or "part-timer" as Maul calls her. Maul - an ex-Sith (after being left for being when sliced in two he wasn't too keen on the Sith anymore) Vader - a Sith. Inquisitors - Dark side users trained by Vader but not Sith (and at least one is ex-Jedi) Ezra - Not really any of the above since he's post-Jedi Order, and while he is trained by a Jedi he's got a touch of Dark. I know the dark-jedi/grey-jedi stuff is pretty non-canon but they definitely have examples of folks that'd fall under it. Another thought is the "there is another" while I guess usually accepted to be Leia, isn't explicitly said outright and I guess likes of Rebels (given they've communed with Yoda a couple times) could lead it to imply Ezra.

Especially since here it seems he's joining with Ezra as a Grey Jedi*? I think we're getting a clearer sign that while there's definitely still "the dark side" and "the light", I think the Sith and Jedi are pretty much gone come Force Awakens and Rebels is setting that up for happening. The Bendu thing as a "centre of the force" (played by Tom Baker!!!) definitely seems to imply a strong push for a "middle path" instead of the stark black n whites of the later Jedi which pretty much led to their failure. Also on the voice side I wasn't aware it's Sam Witwer voicing Maul (as well as Son and Palpatine). For those not familiar with the name he provided voice and body for this Star Wars fellow: Also Freddie Prince Jr as Kanan. *Which even that isn't the right term, he's not a "light sith" since he's rejected the Sith, but still enemies with the Jedi. "not-sith" in the same way Asoka is "not-jedi" (though EU would call her a grey jedi). Just watch the damn show okay. edit: Now I'm looking at the voice cast, it's pretty damn great. This game has a ton of easter eggs: - Weighted Companion cube in the hipster-antique shop - Pretty much every LP cover is based on a real one such as Buddy Holly, Beatles, Led Zepplin, AC DC etc. - Copy of DXHR in the antique shop too - Bunch of the snack and cereals are based on real life counter parts too. Though mainly american, so only super recognised the knock-off Kettle Chips. - Some folks have also noted that some of the people sat to their computers are playing the original Deus Ex. - I'm pretty sure I've seen the guy from Watch_dogs too. (says a lot I don't know the name of the guy from Watch_dogs ) - The radio occasionally plays the original Deus Ex theme too. Oh and there's a chunk of references to the original Ion Storm games too, which given Bob Page n Manderly pop up a lot isn't hugely surprising. A lot pop up during the Versalife bank heist (there's also a computer with email sent prior to the Panchea stuff between Illuminati). Pretty sure there's a reference on an email about someones kid dying from the grey death too, which shouldn't be a thing at this point in time afaik. There's also one of the muscle statues from the end of DXHR and a Haylon suit in one of the vaults too, along with plans for "Heaven". DXHR items popping up aren't exactly "easter eggs" I'd guess. There is somehow no Final Fantasy reference, which is interesting given the Knuckles thing which is a Sega title.

Yeah that and John Wick are pretty solid minimal plot action movies. I didn't see it at cinema but got to watch it on my dads decent TV n surround sound set-up.

Yeah as in that. Also I suspect that the game diverges a fair bit for the follow up missions given (Versalife path spoilers) Do you go to GARM? On the patch side of things I've noticed that the lighting has messed up a bit. At first I didn't think much of it since I was in a new area and figured that darkened areas were part of newer level of difficulty as the game progressed, forcing you to use smart vision to navigate some vents n such. Then I went back to the bookshop and his office was near pitch black where previously it wasn't. I do also have a Nvidia Game Ready driver wanting to download atm too so that might be related. I do dislike some of the volumetric lights in this game, when some people move in front of a flodlight during conversation it's really horrible.

Oh man. So if you've hung out with "Helle" read on. Also did you guys bomb or bank? I banked (though made a save point so I can more easily experience the alternative). Totally got lost though cos I ended up in the end point of the mission while trying to find a alt path around a turret. The twisty alt route ways of the game slightly worked against itself in this case. I was like "I get the marker is pointing down but I've no way to go down". Turns out if you went the correct way around then there's a button that opens a big ass vault hatch to let you go up. No such button exists on the other side

The GOTY is out, and with it a new patch for the non-GOTY edition (tbh if you have the "Season Pass" you have the GOTY). So grab that if you're on GOG Galaxy or what not.

Yeah a common consensus seems to be story wise it's part one of a trilogy. My playthrough is probably gonna be more than 30hrs just cos I've a nasty habit of trying to explore every nook and cranny. About to meet Rucker soon I believe. Was maybe gonna have a big playthrough this weekend but I've stuff to sort for my dad, so we'll see.

They're doing a Justice League Dark animated film Still early days I guess given their teaser still has some pre-viz n storyboarding stuff in it. Gone the form of man, raise the demon Etrigan! I quite liked them introducing the paranormal stuff into BTAS. A lot of time shows ignore that side of things.

Knowing I had issues with one of the Thief games after giving a spin when disappointing with the newer Thief game I think it falls under the "doesn't properly work on a modern system" thing. Yeah, Dishonored is good but I'm not sure I'd call it "top 5 good". But on the other hand having recently dived back into it, it does hold up pretty well since it has a stylised look (seriously developers, learn from that :/. TF2 is "ancient" by gaming years but looks great cos of a solid aesthetic, though slightly hampered by all the gamer mader stuff you can slap on). Witcher I feel is in a pretty damn solid spot. It'll likely shift n settle a bit over time but I think it'll easily stick around as a great for a while. We'll have to see what Bioware do with Andromeda or Bethesda with TES VI. DA:I n Fallout 4 both fall fairly short of Witcher 3. Blood & Wine just further cements it, great piece of modern DLC. As for the personal picks: Endless Dungeon is a tower defence? I feel I really didn't get the hang of that game (only got like 20-30 minutes or so into mind). Also weird that PvZ didn't make it anywhere in the list. I guess it's not super replayable but it's been enjoyed by most of my family.

I'm not going for stealth, if I can I will cos it makes things easier, but if need be I'll pull out a more lethal weapon (for example when you can't get armour piercing tranq darts...) I like how the plot is responding to your actions (I assume the other people going for a full stealth play haven't had a second augmented terrorist attack on the train station reported? "Your'e definitely going to see the psychologist Jensen!") On the bug front they've sorted out a 2nd patch.
