PC Gamer have done a "Top 100 PC Games you can play today" list. The big caveat being "play today" as in it'll work on a modern PC n such, which I guess GOG helps stretch that a fair bit. http://www.pcgamer.com/best-pc-games-1/ edit: Okay so the caveat means not only that older games are sliced off the list, but means that Final Fantasy IX can come in at 70

Some pretty good innuendos. And, assuming you're a woman, you'll learn how to make an end table.

Yeah I had that happen with the whole "quick save while under cover = die immediately if you reload that cos you jump into a turret" I've also noticed that when sprinting it can sort of "slow down" a bit. You're doing the sprinting actions, arms pumping n such but you're only moving at walking pace for a few seconds. Also the red dot on my laser going (the beam still emits a few inches from the gun, just not red dot where it's pointing). As for missing stuff: Probably missing loads, this is huge compared to the last few games. I've just arrived in Golem City and it's gorgeous as a hub (well, it's sort of a one-off main mission area I'm to understand rather than anything you'll be coming back to massively). There's a flat I want to go back to. I thought I was being sneaky in getting there, and as soon as I got in all the doors n windows lock down and a VO plays taunting you (though thinking you're someone else) n pumps the room with gas. I couldn't figure my way around it so had to go back to an earlier save instead. For me Aug wise, much like the last game I save them until I need to spend them for a particular issue I'm up against. However I will say the super jump is my most useful so far. Loads of higher up vents(including a few in the roof), and secondary platforms to reach.

Woke up with this playing in my head for some reason. (I've never even watched Dirty Dancing but I know most of the songs)

I'm currently breaking into Pallisade (I did pop in earlier cos yeah it's like a big tease but now I have a mission for it) to get some tasty info on Picus. Which I'm amazed I couldn't just go "well their reporter is an AI hologram, I had a chat with her a couple years ago". Corporate security agent breaking into places was kinda okay-ish cos espionage n shit. But yeah now you're "the law" it feels a bit weird you're breaking into places, dealing with black market arms men n such. And yeah, hacking into your own work and disabling a bunch of systems. Amazed no one was like "I was chatting with Jensen, then he sat down and checked my emails. He even knew my password somehow". So far Pritchard > Chang for IT guy.

Mine is the platforming can be a bit cruddy in engaging the "Adam Jensen now grabs the ledge/pipe" stuff. Which has led to a few game overs. Otherwise it's all pretty great, though I carry on being told off for not dong the main story I imagine given the game is sorta keeping tracking of that, it'll come in to play some point.

What's the default overlay? Might be what key combo you have it down as? (shift+tab maybe?). I changed mine yonks ago so no clue what the default is, just it messed with some games.

Nigel Farage to join Donald Trump to talk about Brexit. Which hasn't actually happened yet n Farage was last seen applying for german citizenship, and before that was seen leaving UKIP. Could be interesting shit show if you're in the states.

They're making a Max Steel film and it looks sooo bad.

I spent a chunk of the first part in Prague jumping through peoples windows (note: don't do this all the time cos some people are vendors. In fact there's a lot more vendors than prior games had). Then a bunch of time wandering around, stumbled across a weird side mission that might have been easier if I'd done the "go get your augs turned back on" thing first But yeah, rather enjoying it. Wrapped up when it crashed leaving the shooting range, was like nearing 1am so figured a good time to stop

I didn't watch it legitimately.

Watching that Jurrasic Park movie everyone was banging on about?
-
Maybe, but shouldn't be an issue when you have the key. Not exactly brute forcing it open. Anywho on to the game: edit: Dang can't tell if this is meant to be real or not: https://acrnm.com/ The messed up images imply ARG, but everything else looks kinda real and somewhat Deus Ex-ey (though no trench coat).

Yeah, mine is jumping all over the place from a few minutes to a few hours. No idea what's up, I even managed to clear a bunch of space and stick it on my SSD. There's nothing downloading, just unecrypting the game files. Not sure why it's struggling so much. Seems it's an issue a bunch of folks re having.

Was just thinking on this the other day that we seemed to be short on trailers and such on this of late. Though he kinda fucked up not using hay, much more effective. (Also given they're assumedly gonna CGI a lot of that footage why not just make a hero model n throw that off a digital tower?)

Man, this is pretty wacky. I remember back at uni it'd take hours to process motion tracking, then you'd have to build all the point data in a 3D application. You wanted to scan a 3D object? You needed to book the laser scanner. These days you can use a free Autodesk phone app to just take a handful of photos and hey presto (and the results are about on par with what we got on the laser scanner). Now just take a stationary video n hey look it produces a 3D physics simulation about as good as you'd get with basic skills (heck probably better given you'd have to cut out and manually model a lot of the stuff...and well as it covers it's much easier to make the thing you want to simulate from scratch in your 3D program). And another video (not watched this fully yet).

Man, who knew papercuts could actually be even worse.

They made a subreddit for them https://www.reddit.com/r/VRphysics

UK may knock out some world class TV and comedy, but you wouldn't know it if you asked the general public https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2016/aug/23/mrs-browns-boys-voted-best-sitcom-of-century https://youtu.be/iqBgwOKwoyo Black Books is great (pretty much all Graham Lineham stuff is). Sort of on-again off-again relationship with Netflix.

Hah, that's almost like a vector drawing of one of them Swap the cans out for the 2L bottles and maybe add in a bong and it's picture perfect.

Eu não pedi para este! (But yeah, making language DLC or something would make much more sense than having you download everything)

Rebels S2 ends on a bit of a dark note.
