  1. Brown sauce/steak sauce is a lot more vinegary and a lot less sweet than BBQ sauce and is more spicy.
  2. Kickstarter blog post on the impact Double Fine's Adventure game has had.
  3. What platform is that on where it says how many people have achieved it? I like that idea.
  4. I bet there are a lot of priests on bebo.
  5. "MCV understands the trade price for the Basic Pack is £205, the Premium Pack has a trade cost of £246 and the ZombiU version (which includes the Premium Pack, a Pro Controller and a copy of Ubisoft's horror shooter ZombiU) has a cost price of £270." Sounds like the retailers are adding around £50 to the price they're paying. Sounds quite high to me though I've no idea what would be normal, just that I always read the retailers don't make much profit on consoles, wasn't that what all the hullabaloo was with the PSP GO?
  6. any sauce on a bacon sandwich is heresy.
  7. Is the NSMB U using the wiimote? That would really surprise me as the wiimote's not included with the console.
  8. wipeout is SO hard. They sucker you in by making the first few tracks easy. then it just goes mental. I just gave up on it in the end as it was not any fun at that point. Have to say I did a bit of a double-take when I read wipeout 3 was a launch window game for Wii U. Wait. What?! Found out it's some mini game collection based on a gameshow though.
  9. hmmm, zombiU bundle doesn't include Nintendo Land. Kind of a bummer.
  10. I'm guessing if MS/Sony's next consoles don't come out next year, there'll be a pack-in next Christmas. If they do release their consoles next year then there'll be a price drop.
  11. well, I've pre-ordered it at £300 for the ZombiU premium bundle. Shame I'm the only person on the board that actually seems excited about it - people elsewhere seem more enthused.
  12. What do you guys think of the Professor Layton games having a daily downloadable puzzle each day for a year after release? Is it less bad because it's for such a long time, and is completely separate from the rest of the game and not integrated at all? Does calling it a "daily download" make it seem more like a bonus and less like something you're missing out on?
  13. FMS, this is mind blowing. Comments are worth reading too.
  14. have you read the new evidence about infrasound creating chills, hallucinations and other effects associated with ghosts. It's entirely possible that you'd seem a picture of your great grandmother before, which is why you'd see her particularly. Though of course I have never seen anything supernatural myself so it is easy for me to dismiss.
  15. @ excel: Nintendo Land is a pack-in in the premium bundle, and it also does include the Nintendo network premium. It's not 10% off, it's points back equivalent to 10% of the price you pay for the downloads. the points payback won't be active straight away, but they will backdate it for games you've previously bought when it becomes active so no need to hold off from buying downloadable games at launch. Also, it works for DLC too not just full games. the ZombiU bundle also includes a pro controller so looks to be good value too as it's £325 on shopto and the normal premium bundle seems to be £300 most places. That nano game is a download game and is a launch title, not launch window, so that implies the eShop will be running from day one which is good. Anyway, I'll be getting it at launch, probably the zombiU bundle, if not the premium bundle. It's the PS4, xbox 3 that will have to fight for space under my TV as the order in which I've enjoyed my consoles this gen is Wii >= PS3 > 360 so it's MS that will have to pull off something special for me, not Nintendo.
  16. Link Launching 8 Dec in Japan for £210 ($340) and £252 ($400) equivalent (so not the 3 models rumoured, at least in Japan). Basic model is white The Premium bundle is black and sounds interesting It comes 32GB flash memory instead of 8GB (hopefully built in cos with a 32GB SD, 64GB would be enough to put of getting an external HDD for a while) and Nintendo Network Premium which "sounds like the Nintendo version of PlayStation Plus and includes free eShop points and 10 per cent off digital downloads – although you can only join it by buying the Premium console." the last part makes it sound like it isn't a recurring subscription cost. If that's the case it would be a great deal. Can't wait to see what they announce for the EU. Extra gamepads are £107 ($170) - half the cost of the system(!), pro controllers are £40 ($65) I'm hoping 8 Dec is a worldwide release date else it would mean after Christmas in the US/EU which seems like a really bad move. Even 8 Dec is very late in my mind, and I bet it's not through choice. edit: apparently it has 2GB of system memory. 1GB for OS and 1GB for games to access. I guess that means it's going to be able to load up the miiverse etc. without quitting out of games, as 1GB is massive amount to be reserved for a console OS. It is good that it mean that the 1GB for games won't be eaten up by the system though. It's 20 times more powerful than the Wii, whatever that may mean.
  17. Love the video as well. Makes a change from the usual landscape slideshows you get with classical music.

  19. maybe gamestop pay money to Sony/WB for them? Surely that's the only way gamestop could get them. They may be able to get them off Sony for less than the $10 they'd have to knock off the game for not having the code included.
  20. it's still fun to see what other people have created, even if you don't have the inclination yourself.
  21. gamecentral has two eurogamer expo press tickets to give to readers, all they'd want is a 600 word feature for their own site. http://goo.gl/f72aJ
