I'd say a bar is somewhere you stand up, probably has music and would go in the evening and into the night. They're almost exclusively in towns/cities or in hotels. You'll find pubs in the countryside as well as the city and you'd' be sitting down, are open in the daytime as well as evening and are more likely to serve food. I wouldn't say that's an official definition, but that's how I think of them. Also, I'd say a bar is a bit smarter, and a pub more relaxed, but that's more of a blurry line to me.

Obviously it's fate telling you now is the time to start cross-dressing like a badass.

I've got a US Club Nintendo code for the US version of Professor Layton and the Last Specter to get you the club stars. If you've already got the game the code will be no good as you can only register one copy of each game. Anyone else, it could get you one step nearer to those goodies!

I know the conversation has moved on from DoP's CNN article, but which news in America is most unbiased/has least editorialising of stories? Are newspapers better or worse in this respect?

Hopefully, if you're at home immersed in the game it will have a better feel than at a convention. I'd imagine this is the sort of game that suffers most from being played in that kind of atmosphere.

Ubisoft Classics is £4.37 on Amazon UK. It includes: Assassins Creed Beyond Good & Evil Prince Of Persia The Sands Of Time Rayman 3 Far Cry It's a DVD, as they don't do downloads in the UK yet, but pretty god bargain, I'd say.

Finally got Professor Layton 4. I really wanted the US version for the London Life RPG which isn't in the EU version, as from the little info written about it on the net it seems to be really worth having. I managed to find a British stockist of it, which I think is reliable, but I'll have my fingers and toes crossed until it arrives. Also interested to see if the US Luke's voice is as bad as people say because he's annoying enough on the EU one.
