  1. It will be interesting to see how it holds its price. Could be a bargain in a years time.
  2. I forgot how bad I am at jumping on enemies in Mario games I always hit the front of them and lose a life. :/
  3. Golden Silvers completely passed me by when they came out, but only released one album so I guess they'll be easy to catch up on. It gives me some sort of melancholy feeling for something to have come and gone before I find it maybe like finding a teddy bear that's been dropped by the side of the road? I don't know.
  4. If I remember correctly the last game was the first one that was reviewed well in a while, but that didn't reflect in the sales which is why they gave it a bit of a rest and a reboot for this one. Trouble is nowadays (I think skewed by square enix) I don't know what a game needs to sell to remain profitable. I guess AC - being fairly formulaic - wouldn't be the most expensive game but the credits at the end seem to encompass half the global population so who knows.
  5. How well do they sell nowadays? I know everyone dumps on them, but is it a profitable series for Ubisoft?
  6. I have no clue when mine is arriving which is sad as it's the first time I've looked forward to playing a game in ages.
  7. It had slightly mixed reviews but it's half price on Switch at the moment, so I thought I'd give it a go. Edit: and this: Thinking about Phantom Trigger too, but not sure from the reviews. edit again: Last one*, Thimbleweed Park: *before I go to bed tonight.
  8. I kinda guessed it wouldn't be suitable from what you wrote, but I'm trying to go minimalist and it is a torturous process.
  9. I have a D-Link DNS 320 with 2*2TB Samsung HD204UI HDDs which you could have for the cost of postage if you want.
  10. That sounds like the voice of bitter experience. I don't PC game, but if I did it would just be for the indies which I assume are more likely to work? and keep the triple As for the consoles. I know they can look better on PC but that isn't worth the hassle in my mind - I know everyone says it's easy nowadays, but the length of this thread begs to disagree.
  11. I had to google that, and did actually own one, but would have to say the novelty of a calculator watch wore off fairly quickly. Hopefully you don't feel the same way about our forum - it's long term ace so welcome.
  12. Is that the DLC? When's the story one coming out?
  13. It sits in your hot water tank to directly heat the water using electricity. It's very dear compared to using the gas boiler to send hot water to sit in the tank waiting for use so is only for emergency use.
  14. A new boiler and it's installation costs. It's my main Christmas gift for my parents (a lot more than I'd normally spend) and while it's not the most exciting way to blow a decent whack of money, my Mum cried when I told her as she'd been so worried about it. It's something that's been on our minds to sort for years but came to a head when it flat out stopped working so we now have no heating/hot water until it's installed in a fortnight. Luckily the immersion heater still works if we're desperate, and have an electric shower and gas fire so we're not in dire straits.
  15. oh, I'm actually playing that right now in another tab. I didn't realise there was an end point
  16. You can download an official version of the song here if you like it.
  17. Is it replacing something similar or have you gone for a complete change?
  18. I have a decent grinder, a Eureka Mignon: It's the espresso machine I have difficulty taming, being completely manual: I rarely pull something that'ts completely unpalatable and honestly though, while I can taste differences each time I couldn't say if I prefer one attempt over another and wouldn't be able to replicate it if I did. Luckily I enjoy the overall experience of making and drinking it as much as anything.
  19. I didn't realise that was out - I wanted to see it but had not seen it advertised.
  20. I think we need a new post in what do you look like with this snazzy get-up.
  21. I'm thinking of getting rid of my gameboy/GBA games, GameCube and games, PS3 and games, XB360 and games, my Wii games, and Wii U and games. Many of the games are unplayed. I can tell myself as often as I want that I'll play them but they've all sat there untouched once i crumble and buy into the next gen too soon. I should maybe point out that I gave away my N64 and games to a friend when he went to university, and while I think about it sometimes I do not believe I regret the decision - but I was never really attached to my N64 as I am to some of my GB, GC and Wii games. What do you think? The only compromise I can think of is to keep a few of my favourite games as a memento but is that stupid if I have no console to play them on?
  22. Let us know if you can taste a difference. I'd be interested to know - my own espresso pulling ability is too hit and miss to tell if the grinder is pulling its weight.
  23. I have the same problem, having a quick Google, I think it's the Swamp Palace or Skull Woods where I get off the train. It really frustrates me. I'm at peace with the fact I'll never get on at all with the first one but I feel I could finish LttP if I could have more patience with it. I may go through it with a guide one day, but then will I just have a different feeling of dissatisfaction around the game.
  24. Hello. Anyone that likes Lemmings is cool in my book. I used to love them on my Amiga.
