I have Korea in the work sweepstake, though I still doubt I should start spending the money quite yet

I'm going to go through all my Xbox One games so I can sell it. With that in mind I played all the way through Unrarvel today. Some of it was very pretty but unfortunately I didn't like the main character design/rendering - it didn't look very woolly and didn't sit in the landscapes very well. I liked the gameplay a medium amount. Luckily it wasn't too long to outstay its welcome. I don;t think it was as emotional as I think I was meant to find it. Glad I played it but I wouldn't go back to it and won't be rushing out to get the sequel, but would potentially get it in a sale.

I was just flicking channels and caught a bit of legally blonde, including the bend and snap scene which is surely iconic. I always have in mind Clueless, Legally Blonde and Mean Girls as the Holy Trinity of school girl comedies. You'll often find people you wouldn't expect have one of these as a guilty pleasure*. Strange how Legally Blonde is on TV all the time and I never see the other two. *Guilty pleasures are something I very much do not believe in personally.

speaking of sentient androids, I bought and completed a game on the same day, a first for me I think. It was Subsurface Circular. I will probably have another playthrough to see how different it can turn out - I'm guessing not very. Probably play it with the commentary on as I enjoyed that on Thomas Was Alone.

They are still releasing a core pokemon RPG next year on the Switch so I'm struggling to imagine this is a full RPG experience even though they say it is. If it is just a "my first pokemon" I'll likely buy it, but i can't help but feel it will be super gimped in some fundamental way.

Argh. So much French music I'd love to post. There's a cover of this in "8 Women", one of my favourite French movies Obviously this is just super famous. You may remember this for 500 days of summer. Yelle are probably my favourite french band This whole album is great - it's called "le fil" which means the thread as there is a single note that runs the entire length of the album. This is just a piano piece, but it is French, and written for the Amelie soundtrack, which is very French I know this is in English, but he is French

I know there's been no shortage of rumours about what Retro Studio's been up to, but what do you think of them making a Star Fox racing game? It supposedly has F Zero style racing and Diddy Kong style story. It seems slightly more substantial than the normal idle speculation. While I can't say I'm holding my breath, It will definitely be in the back of my mind come the E3 Direct.

Finished the single player of Splatoon 2. I got all the collectables for the first worlds but it was enough to get through the final world - it was tough. I'll go back and get them with easier weapons as you can choose on your second go through but for now I'm playing the splatfest. Not too sure how I feel the game. I look forward to playing it, but get bored of it fairly quickly when i do. I would say I like it though because I do keep going back.

I listened to it in 1.5 speed first as it was on a YouTube fish video. I enjoyed it at both speeds to be fair but when you slow stuff down to normal speed it always sounds weird for a bit.

For my birthday yesterday I got the clear vinyl limited edition LP, which looks really good, but I doubt it will photograph well so I'll just post the lead single. Kylie's been to Nashville for this new album, which many artists do when they want to make a change and reaching 50 I think she wanted to move away from her previous image. She's had more blatant home-of-country-music results than most people that make the pilgrimage but that's not to say I don't like it.

Not listened to this in years and it popped up in a film I was watching. Not as "hard" as I remember it, but still enjoy it.

I have more games than I care to mention that have succumbed to this fate. In fact I recently sold a load of 360 games to a games shop that were still sealed.

That's a good thing to do with a game you have recently purchased.
