Tornado weather in this country is ace. It makes the news when one appears as they're uncommon which is fair enough as an interest piece at the end, but the regional news especially tries to make out like it's a drama because a bin fell over or one tile blew off a roof. Anyway, the reason I came here. When it's cold enough out to see your breath do you wonder/worry that the same issue occurs at the other end when you think you're parping with impunity out in the open air.

That sounds like a good idea, and would mean I could stand my Switch vertically rather than on its back, but I'm not sure I could bring myself to break up my original dock and buying another plus the small one would be hella money.

Thanks for the offer of advice, but I ordered a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB so I only want confirmation of my awesome purchasing decisions at this point. It's still not dispatched yet though and my refund hasn't materialised either as the delivery failed over the holidays*. The reason I returned the previous one was the noise it made, you have to turn the volume up on your PC as it was only recorded on my phone, the main noise kicks in at 8 seconds and it was audible even across the room unless the music was particularly loud. So I guess I do have a question, "How much noise should the record player itself make?" I assume it will make some noise but this really ruined the listening experience. If that's normal I've made a very expensive mistake. The change of record player did mean I needed a pre-amp, but I only bought a cheap one (Behringer PP400) because I couldn't face thinking any more about it so if you have opinions on what to look out for with those I will certainly appreciate it. *While I'm writing this I just got two emails to say my refund has gone through and my turntable has dispatched. wahoo.

Do the enemies scale with you in CX2? If not I always try and do all the side-quests first. I know some people say it makes the combat too easy but that is the opposite of a problem for me.

This was reduced to 89p and Google had an offer where, if you used Android Pay 3 times they gave you £10 Play credit. Pretty handy since Opinion Rewards doesn't seem to be as generous as it used to be.

I thought I already owned it but I guess I just considered buying it in the Halloween sale.

An extra week and a half to choose the amp wasn't too bad in my mind. One thing I noticed with amps is the designers are not afraid of sticking multiple mismatched and ugly fonts on the front of a single product (mine has 4?). It seems unrelated to the cost of the unit too so you can't buy your way out of it. Overall this endeavour has cost me more than I initially planned (more than double actually) but I only paid around a third of the full RRP so I still think I got a good value system. I have my first record too. Although I think I still have some records in the loft from my childhood when that was the standard way to buy music. I can't remember if I actually said why I bought all this? I've gotten into the habit of playing my "thumbs up" playlist and missing out vast swathes of my music collection. My Cds are taking up too much space so I am getting rid of those, and just keeping digital copies. My plan is to keep to my magpie approach when listening out and about with my earphones. but to play full albums digitally through my new system when I can, and to buy special/all time favourite albums on vinyl to listen to as a treat. Just waiting for my speaker cable to arrive and I will be good to go.

A Darwin Award

Wasn't planning on buying it (yet) as I still haven't played the first one but Argos had it at £29.99 so I couldn't pass that up.

I don't have an amp to connect them yet, but I've been hemming and hawing over combinations of the three for months (or more) so plumping for these two tonight is a pretty big milestone. Feeling a mixture of stress and relief at having pinned a decision down (or two thirds of one anyway).

I'm enjoying it so far. Except the connection issues, obviously. Makes me wonder if they'll ever get around to a switch animal crossing though, because it's more like a "proper" animal crossing game than I originally expected when it was announced.

The rate I get through my games, it's more likely to be useful to me in 2018 or 2019.

Not sure what timeline this is but it looks like it's been hard on Link. I jest, of course. I bought Skyrim for Switch. I had an offer to get a game half price so went in to get AC: Origins, but then I worried my parents may get it for me for Christmas so I thought I'd get Splatoon 2, but they didn't have that so I got this instead. Unlike most people though, I've never played it before, so I'm not double/triple dipping.

I know it's old, but this is still one of my favourite things when it pops back into my life.

Sony's black friday VR deal seems good. The headset and camera, vr worlds, and skyrim vr or GT VR for £250, when it's normally £350 for the headset alone. Still not sure I actually want one but it's tempting at that price.

I used to have a coat with weird sleeves that pulled the whole coat up when I lifted my arms, it was a nightmare, glad you didn't get stuck with something like that. I still have a pizza cutter but my favourite thing to cut pizza is scissors.

It will be interesting to see how it holds its price. Could be a bargain in a years time.

I forgot how bad I am at jumping on enemies in Mario games I always hit the front of them and lose a life. :/
