  1. Heart it in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and (obviously) liked it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlnSRFN9j74
  2. you can't say that! I hope your german shepherd can't read.
  3. I'd still say the phrase 'stealing candy from a baby' not sweets.
  4. Surely it's going to waste a lot of that money to redistribute it when there was already an effective set-up in place.
  5. geez, in the UK it's £49 and all you get is the expedited deilvery. No video, books, or anything.
  6. Am I missing something? "Pay whatever you want to get four excellent games ... pay more than the average will also receive World of Goo" so that's five games total. but it only mentions three other games, Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Osmos, and EDGE for a total of four if you pay over average.
  7. I can hardly believe this isn't a spoof even though it's on the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16812545

It's clever marketing, that letter did its rounds on Reddit and Facebook (I must have seen it at least twenty times on different friends profiles).

It did seem weird in the article that the letters were from May, and they suddenly became popular recently

they were popular then. I've a feeling the recent resurgence is a bit of viral marketing on sainburys part.

  8. I'll probably give it a go, as I've been on a bit of a spending spree recently.
  9. I've heard a few of Violent Femmes songs I like now. Is there an album you'd recommend I buy to get in to them?
  10. Wanted Tingle's game for ages, but it's not been available. Suddenly, a site I actually trust has 300 in stock, yay! I enjoyed the demo of Ghost trick. I hope it fills some sort of gap left by the stupidly priced Pheonix Wright games. trying to decide if I should get: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and/or Wario! Master of Disguise. Anyone played either?
  11. Hope this was more productive than burning £20: https://twitter.com/#!/JosefValentino

  12. Inspirational http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1Gwl3cd7zs
  13. My favourite US sitcom at the moment is Happy Endings. Not really any good UK ones on at the moment.
  14. Zoinks, why are the pheonix wright games so expensive?!

ah yes Wiiware version is one to think off buying. Nintendo should release DS games on the 3DS eshop for like a tenner

I have all three of them. Proudest part of my collection.

      I have all FIVE.

  15. does anyone use forefinger for index finger?
  16. I have a WP7 phone so want something androidy for apps n shit (they're limited and expensive on WP7), but obviously not just another phone. I don't see the point of netbooks as they are just reduced functionality notebooks and apart from playing with apps I'd be using it for media, so don't plan to be that productive with it. I'm not going to pretend I need one, I just want one. I'm a gadget whore.
  17. Does anyone have one or want one? What size do you think is good? Or do you just think they are a waste of time? Had one of those fire sale touchpads slip through my fingers due to my own stupidity, and ever since then my wallet's been whispering to me. I'm thinking of getting a motorola xoom as they've just dropped in price and are being updated to ice cream sandwich. Any others I should be considering (not an iPad)?
  18. Both words came from the original word, burglar, but burglarize is the more correct word as it is normal to 'ize' a noun to make a verb, burgle is just completely made up because it sounds more natural. PS, my spell check tried to correct burglarize to burglarious, which must be the most awesome word ever though I doubt burglaries are ever that hilarious.
  19. without spoilers, please, as I still haven't got round to playing 2 yet, but I didn't realise UC3 was the last? Does that mean no more Nathan Drake? or no more Uncharted at all?
  20. It's only a guess but I'd have thought with the WiiU coming out this year they won't release a redesigned 3DS as well, but you never know with NIntendo. I would say the battery is definitely pretty rubbish on the current one, you really need to have the cradle set up and leave it in there or you'll find it's dead when you come to play it. Maybe you could use your PSP as an emulator for older Nintendo games until the redesigned 3DS comes out?
  21. I use bouillon cubes to refer to the yellow coloured ones to make stock (for soup etc) and stock/oxo cubes for the brown coloured ones used to make gravy. I've definitely seen some of them called bouillon cubes in the shops here too so I don't think it's completely clear cut.
  22. Resident Evil Revelations demo in the 3DS eShop now :) and cooking mama 4 :(

That demo is hard! And good. But a lot of hard. I'll need to think long and hard about maybe buying this game.

I'm talking about Cooking Mama of course.

  23. I've just finished the third silent realm and have played about 40hrs so far. Which bits do you think are padding? I haven't felt that way about any of the thing I've had to do, in fact it doesn't feel like there has been that much I've had to do and what I have seems well built into the story, rather than breaking the flow of the story until it's done. And, yeah that pumpkin patch harp gig was pretty harsh, because it isn't (as far as I can tell) a predictable pattern, though I did find it easier to follow the guy on the left. The time I managed to complete it I didn't really feel I did any better than the times I failed and the singer wasn't that impressed either! I'll have to give it another try an see if there is a knack to it.
