I hate it when people break into my house and feed my dog mushrooms at gunpoint. Especially when I'm fappin' - what am I supposed to do? Stop? pfft... That's not how you break records! That's not how you get into the Faplympics!

  1. Possibly linked to the steambox rumours, what do people think about the (other) rumours that they're working with nintendo for the wiiU online service? Could the steambox actually be the WiiU?! and no snickering!
  2. Did you try with the Nintendo Silicon gripper, it makes it a bit more chunky and easier to hold for some people. The reason I will probably get the WiiU at launch is because Nintendo have a habit of giving cool free stuff to early adopters. Plus it tends to be that launch bundles are best as all the retailers are competing with each other. The decent offers then tail off and then you start wanting to wait for a price drop. I'll also be buying it to support "core games" turning up on it, e.g. AC3 and Darksiders 2. I wonder if they'll have a trophy system. It would be quite cool if they linked that to the club Nintendo account and its rewards.
  3. Does this game use the pointer function of the wiimote? I want to know if I should use my classic controller but I wouldn't if it meant missing out on pointy fun.
  4. wow, is nintendo weird. edit: cool they're adding thumb sticks instead of nubs and the more curved back. Also, rumour of a $300 price point. Would you get onoe at that price?
  5. For one horrifying moment I though Jodie Marsh was embarking on a music career. :: shudder ::
  6. i still havent played brotherhood, or revelations so this could be totally out of whack, but the templars could have been reduced to their knees by the ezio, and the assassins guild in europe, which is why they were trying to build a new powerbase in usa where the assassins arent already a powerful force keeping them under control. it would explain why they are the underdog, why they wanted to be in america and why, in desmonds time they are powerful in usa, but not nobility but business - they wanted to do it in a new way in the usa - it's harder to take down a web of business than a family. i definitely think it could work, though we know it's not how they're doing it so i guess it's moot.
  7. I think it would have been cool if the plot was the Brits were the good guys and Americans were the Templars, so right from the off you knew you were fighting a losing battle to stop the Templars taking over the USA.
  8. " Ever since the conclusion of Assassin's Creed II, a senior team of Ubisoft developers has been secretly toiling away on what comes next. That team aimed high, with plans to examine and rethink every element of the franchise from the ground up, build something new, and take a full three year development cycle to do it." Game Informer
  9. I'm guessing it's cheating to answer the poll now Just got a Ubisoft email "assassin's creed iii is coming. click here to find out when" the website (which was having trouble loading when I went) just has a logo and 3 days 20 hours countdown on a snowy field backdrop. Now that makes it sound like the game is coming out in 4 days, but surely it must only be the official reveal of setting and maybe a release date. Looking forward to some proper details though.
  10. Xenoblade Chronicles. I felt quite guilty not owning it! I didn't just buy it in support of localisation though - I do want to play it. I also guess that means my next wii purchase will be Last Story. I may wait to play it on my WiiU though as I have really annoying rolling lines with my component cable on the Wii which drove me mental on Skyward Sword. Not like I'm short of games to play in the meantime.
  11. Can't believe this is coming up to 20 years old... Hope everyone is celebrating K25!
  12. at her mother's funeral? Pick you moments... Blame the victims
  13. I CAN'T WAIT!!! for it to drop in price. I really enjoy SSX games. Do the real mountains seem less OTT and fun, more serious?
  14. ...but that sounds exactly like what the article was about...
  15. there's the other famous hilary clinton one:
  16. About to start Fable III. I think I'm going to be evil. I'm always a goody two shoes in games and think to my self I'll be evil when I replay it, but I never replay them so always miss out. Did anyone play the DLC? Is it any good as it's on offer at the moment. edit: I couldn't bring myself to be evil, but I bought the traitor's keep DLC, which seemed to be better value than the other one. Kind of annoying that every time you step in the sanctuary John Cleese is trying to sell you crap though.
  17. I was massively disappointed with uncharted, as I believed it was going to be an adventure game (like zelda with guns), but it turned out just to be a shooter with prettier backdrops. I enjoyed the 'exploring' (don't know if that's the right word as it is very linear), but then that just ground to a halt to deal with joy and will-to-live sapping waves of enemies. I still haven't played 2 yet and haven't even bought 3.
  18. Finally finished Enslaved. I abandoned it about half a year ago on chapter 13 as I got bored of it. It only took me about an hour to finish off today. Wish I'd known that before. I thought the gameplay ended very abruptly and not sure why I did like the game but I don't feel the desire to go and get any of the achievements I missed (mostly combat based ones) so I didn't really love it.
  19. Maybe you could post them as 'guest features' just inline with your normal posts.
  20. Maybe you could do something like 4colorrebellion does (the newsfeed below their own articles). I'm guessing if you contacted a few smaller websites you could have an arrangement where you each link to each others articles, so you'd hopefully have viewers coming in as well as going out.
  21. I guess this convo is over, but still thought I'd pop this little bit of info in here. Apparently GAME won't be stocking any version The Last Story at all so people that got downgraded to standard edition and weren't annoyed enough, now won't be getting it at all. I really cannot imagine anyone pre-ordering a game from GAME any time soon.
  22. saying the dead person can reject it doesn't really make it seem any better in my eyes. The only way I'd find it acceptable is if a dying person said they wanted to be baptised but died before it could be done.
