Anyway, I've just reread the posts and I think I must have missed where you put 'on the show' because I was looking at it from River's perspective, not the doctor's/viewer's perspective and just though you meant she new less and less about him, and he knew more, and from her perspective that is the wrong way around. I guess my reading comprehension drops off a cliff after midnight so I'd best be off to bed before I make even more of a fool of myself

Yeah, I believe they don't store the security number - I'm sure they try to put a spin on the problem, but they've said they don't store the number and I don't think they would outright lie. Of course that doesn't mean someone isn't selling the info and exaggerating what they have. Mind you I don't think the whole thing is as bad is it is being made out to be, if only Sony would tell the truth people wouldn't be believing the worst.

This thread put me off buying this game when it was half price on XBLA - it just sounds so complicated.

Majin and the forsaken kingdom is the only demo i've downloaded to my xbox - and it stopped me buying a game I had previously been really excited about.

a bit of warning for the language would be nice for that, which I just had blaring out at full volume.

Technically I didn't buy them as they were birthday presents (I'm 30!) but I now own them. Got a bit of a jump when I opened deadly premonition, as the way i ripped the wrapping paper I just got the eyes staring at me!

If they make an apology, it will be when they release a proper statement saying exactly what has happened instead of all this vague issue-skirting they're doing now. Hopefully that will go along with the make-up sex (ie FREE STUFF!)

My last mention of 50% was off but the most recent info i can find is about 3/4 of consoles connected that means you are wiping out a quarter of your market out of hand BUT out of the people that are connected that doesn't mean that all these people do or are willing to buy games. I'm happy to buy small games, in addition to disc-based games but I would not buy a download only console, and even worse would never buy a streaming console (a la onlive). people may connect to play multiplayer or small games but download caps and download speeds mean big downloads simply aren't feasible even for some internet connected gamers. Or are you saying that we won't have AAA titles nest gen?

By separate I mean there should be a database with your PSNID and less sensitive info, (games you own, friends list etc. - things that you use for gaming and are visible to the public anyway) then there should be totally separate your billing info, address, email and passwords etc and obviously that would also have your PSN ID but it should be a totally separate (and more secure) system.
