  1. Link to the Future Main points from the article "Project Cafe" will be slightly more powerful than ps3/xbox (I think this is more realistic than 'miles more' powerful as Nintendo won't want it to be very expensive). It will have similar architecture to xbox360, a custom IBM PowerPC CPU with three cores, a GPU from the ATI R700 family with a shader unit at version 4.1, and at least 512Mb of RAM. (sounds reasonable) compatible with wii and gamecube games - and all wii accesories. (makes sense to me) "The controller has a six-inch touch screen, a front-facing camera, D-Pad, two bumpers, two triggers and "possibly more," and can allegedly be used as a Wii sensor bar" (this all seems a bit much - and expensive!) There will be another 'big surprise' at e3. Apparently, the source is the same that leaked the NGP details early. I don't know about all this. everything seems reasonable enough (except the controller - if they won't out a HD screen in the 3DS then I doubt they'll put one in a controller) I'm just not convinced we'll be getting a new console this soon. If we do I will defintiely be excited (though in the minority it seems)
  2. Forget it's Christina Aguilera and pretend it's by some hip new thing and you know this song is awesome.
  3. If you ignored the fact that the uber moves were hit and miss with the motion controls, I enjoyed Blur. Still loving Jerk it Out by the Caesars.
  4. I will have to agree with strangelove - but add that not only is Link's Awakening my favourite handheld game it is my favourite game, full stop.
  5. I went into my local GAME and it had the old pack for £30, but didn't have the newer one at all. I felt pretty bad about leaving without buying it since I was the only person in the shop and the guy at the counter was shoving the stuff into my hands! I felt a bit less bad when he started saying how rubbish the Wii is completely out of nowhere. EDIT ZOMG the new pack difference is that it doesn't include the demo disc! I hope they still have the other one in tomorrow. Feeling pretty dumb right about now!
  6. the starter pack is the camera, wand and demo disc - no full game. You can often buy it bundled with a game, but these are done by the retailer not Sony.
  7. I might go in on my lunch break tomorrow, but I didn't see it there today. Still guessing it won't be £30 in store though.
  8. It's the new one that's £30 online. http://www.game.co.uk/Accessories/PlayStation-3/Controllers-and-Accessories/PlayStation-Move-Starter-Pack-2/~r354346/?s=move+2
  9. The £30 one in game looks like the new one. Being game though you can't phone the store to check, and even if you could it would probably be the old one in store and cost £50. I have a stupid voucher for game which I have probably had for a year because I cannot find anything in the shop that isn't offensively expensive. Plus their price match excludes supermarkets and the only other game shop in town is gamestation. Owned by game so they're not cheaper.
  10. Does anyone know the difference between the new starter pack (white) and the original one (blue)?
  11. I think the reason is toy cars in toy shops. There wasn't that much Incredibles merchandise, but the Cars stuff is still selling.
  12. seems a bit bum compared to previous bundles - they'll have to milk the charity angle more than the bargain angle!
  13. I've finally bought Braid. My patience paid off as it is back at half price.
  14. Since I am at a total dead end in Room 215 I may have to bust out a walkthrough.
  15. Be happy you don't have one of these real names. Unless of course you do and then you have the internet's permission to be unhappy.
  16. I'm reading The Lacuna at the moment, which I'm enjoying and then I will read Josh Lanyon
  17. Soup is totally easy to make and completely different to anything you can buy. you could earn some brownie points by cooking a meal I know my flatmates really appreciated it whenever I made something - although they never returned the favour! You could even take it in turns to cooka house meal once a month.
  18. thighs make great stews/casseroles. If anyone in your house uses honey you can make sticky sauce for them. Whatever you do save the bones (they're freezable) and when you have them all boil them to make a tasty stock for soup.
  19. £2 off minimum spend of only £7 until Monday 11th April at Shopto.net. Code: MCVAWARDSWINNER2011 They are already often the cheapest when I look for a game and I've used them several times with no problems.
