I feel sorry for the developers but I can't help but be pleased that it's turned out badly for the publisher and MS because I just think timed exclusives are the cheapest trick to pull.

That's why I think they could be struggling to make an open world a compelling "Nintendo" experience. Though I do think it's more likely just didn't appreciate how much work was needed on it. Whatever the reason for the delay though, I'm still confident I'll love it when it comes out.

Twilight Princess HD is not releasing until March 2016. They did reiterate Zelda Wii U is a 2016 Wii U title but That surely means it won't come out until the end of the year so that is an entire year delay for the game. It's not so much the wait that bothers me but it does make me worry there serious problems with it or that it's not nearly as far along in development as they want us to think. I know they're not previously showed much info about home console zelda games before launch but I'd love to see something so I know they've made more than just a big empty field so far.

Glad they're back on form though I never disliked one yet, so what do I know. Is the super secret mission missable? If it stays in game world or can be revisited via the sequences menu I'd hope to find it naturally but if it was missable is probably look it up

It's the only version on youtube and has been on there for 5 months with zero views. Her most famous song (though not sure how appropriate word is now) has 2 instances, one since 2012 with 648 views and the other, again with zero. Kinda gutted. I know she's not exactly a household name but that means that so few people are enjoying her music and I can't even work out how to get her second album. Lucky I have her first on CD still.

It's still got Johnny Depp so that immediately makes me less interested. It's the sort of film that if it came on over Christmas I'd probably watch it but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

so... My last post was even further off the mark than I feared. While they'd made very clear the replacement would arrive before the end of the year, "My Nintendo" will in fact be arriving March 2016. Sounds pretty similar to the old system so I'm guessing most of what's happened is behind the scenes tech stuff to unify separate systems and link in the smartphone stuff in. What's annoying me is there are several games I would have bought by now in the eShop, but have put off as I was waiting for them to count toward the new system and now I just have that much longer to wait I can't think why they cut off the old system when the new one was quite clearly nowhere near ready.

Nintnendo finally announced details of its first mobile game and... their stock dropped 10%. I say game, it is some sort of weird messaging app for "introverted people" to find out info about their friends they wouldn't normally share/ask. So kind of creepy? And while they've been saying all along it will be released this year it has been pushed back to March 2016. Seems like the core functionality is free and all you'd pay for is things like outfits for your Mii so easy not to spend money, but tempting if you want to. I doubt I'd be spending money unless they were cheap. E.g. I like some of the 3DS themes, and I'd buy them if they were, say 50p, but as they are nearer to £2 they are eating into game-buying money.

You may like that programme, "Humans" that Dean mentioned in the TV shows thread as it is basically the exact same premise and is only 6 episodes long.

Did it end up being too actiony? I think I read it took a strange turn to end up almost like a cover shooter or am I mixing that up with something else?

Optimistic? Turns out that old PS4 tech demo is going to be a game. Though what sort isn't clear from the trailer. I enjoyed Heavy Rain, haven't got around to beyond two souls yet. I guess quantic get pretty mixed reviews but they appeal to me as gameplay needn't always be the main appeal of a game, though if they nailed that too obviously so much the better.

Have you heard of the programme Doc Martin over in the states? I ask because it just had a guest appearance by Sigourney Weaver, which was quite frankly a bit of a surprise.

I don't like most special editions but I think that one looks nice, and I don't even have any nostalgia for the original controller.

The only time it bothers me is when you're singing the alphabet (which admittedly isn't as much an issue as it used to be) as zed totally doesn't rhyme with vee, cee or me.
