In my mind Sony buys exclusive content, but that may mostly be on ubi games? And I know they make more of their own stuff. it always seems to be after an MS conference when people are trying to detangle MS's double speak to work out if something is timed or properly exclusive. I guess it's because I naturally think worse of MS than the other two... I just wish the whole thing wasn't so complicated.

Buying timed exclusives is the cheapest shit ever. At least buying exclusive content you can argue the platform holder is paying to make the experience better for their customers. All they're doing in the case of timed exclusives is making it worse for the competitor's customers. always seems to be Microsoft that does it.

Is there any penalty for quitting a game early? How do other games handle it? The only online multiplayer I play is splatoon and no one quits that

I really enjoy my Mini. I wish it was more powerful and higher resolution and I'm pretty sure the Mini 2 does both. Great little media devices. It has a retina display and is more powerful. In fact the only difference between the 2 and new 3 is the touch ID reader. There's a few things I'm struggling with because I'm so used to doing them in different ways but I'm glad I decided to keep it.

Apparently I already have an apple ID with the email i wanted to use, but I've never set one up and it won't send me an email to reset the password so I can log in and see what's going on. The dude on the phone's "genius" solution was to set up an ID on another account. I'm a bit more concerned that someone is fraudulently using my email, and he's being totally useless about it. FFS, they've admitted to me that someone has used my email to fraudulently set up an account, but they can't do anything about it. Definitely made the right decision not selling the ipad on...

after my moto g experiences, I doubt I will be buying an android device any time soon. I already have a windows tablet, miix 8 2 or something, by lenovo, so I don't need it. And while I wouldn't spend my money on it, having the £150-£200 or whatever I could sell it for sitting in my bank is hardly more exciting than having the item itself. I'm probably just scared I'll actually like it. I guess it's kind of stupid not to like apple when there;s just as many reasons not to like any of the alternatives.

I have a free ipad mini 2 wending it's way to me as we speak. I did always say to myself I would never have an iDevice even as a gift but I must admit I am curious to try one out and a free one is a good way to go about that. struggling to decide if I should leave it sealed and sell it on or have a fiddle, and sell out.

I'm guessing the difference here is that I'm using my phone line (ADSL), not a cable connection and a combined modem/router. all my other ISPs have given me the login details in the welcome info, no need to ask, but sky are an absolute bucket of arseholes in nearly every respect. Luckily I can leave in September so not too long.

I have the "admin" password to change settings on the router but not the one the router uses to to connect to my ISP which would be along the lines of "username@provider.adsl". If I plugged in my spare router without this I would not be connected to the internet and they won't provide that one so they don't have to provide tech support for multiple routers (even though I wouldn't ask them to support that one)

When I go to speedtest.net I get a download speed of 16MB/sec which is what I've always had, but recently I cannot use streaming video on any device other than my laptop (e.g. smart TV, fire stick, consoles) which makes me think it's my router settings/router. My broadband provider won't provide the username nor password to try another router, but there is a website that will calcutate these details if you enter the LAN MAC and serial number of your router. How ropey is it to give out that info? the website is http://www.ph-mb.com/products/sky-calcand ph-mb.com is the "Home of ExPVR; the Sky+ and Sky+ HD recording copier" I'm guessing no one has heard of it? The other think you can apparently use is wireshark, but I have never heard of that either? What settings could I look at on my router to try and get things working properly?

8 hours is rubbish compared to any standard controller I've used as well though.

Does the DS4 charge while the console is in standby or does it have to be fully on? I hate charging my PS3 controller and I don't want to buy an accessory now it's near the end of it's life. I bought the big battery upgrade. It's best gaming accessory I've ever had. The controller has never run low since I got it.
