  1. I'd rather have a russian girlfriend than a dell printer.
  2. targeted advertising working a treat here.
  3. For the Wii U. I enjoyed Lego City Undercover enough to try another Lego game. Hopefully the fact I know practically nothing about Marvel won't spoil it too much.
  4. Try saying his name three times while looking at your reflection in the screen of a monitor.
  5. Shows what a farce voting is, for all except one of the policy areas voters in my constituency are more right wing leaning yet it's a guaranteed labour seat. Forget two term presidents I don't think you should be allowed to vote for the same party more than two elections on a row. And yes I know that's not really a good idea but it's so frustrating people vote without any consideration.
  6. you gotta use your vita for something
  7. The two new streetpass games. I was going to wait for them to be reduced but I only remember the older ones to be reduced once in all the time they've been out so when I found out there is an extra thank you discount is you own one of the first games I thought why not?
  8. I played Papo & Yo today. I liked it, but it didn't resonate with me to the extent I thought it would. Not much else to say about it really. I also beat a few other games in the recently so I may as well mention them. Finished more games this last month or so than probably all of last year. Possibly spurred on by me wanting to get a PS4. I don't think I mentioned I finished unfinished swan. That was OK, I'd certainly had enough of it by the end so I was glad it was short. First off I played ICO for the first time. I really enjoyed it though the monsters were in it more than I expected. Any more and it would have really ruined the game for me. One thing I found a strange choice was, the game had a timeless feel to it like any legend should, including most of the technology - but then they put in iron pipes and one or two of the lifts had a really industrial feel to them and it really jarred with the rest of the feel. I beat Uncharted 2 and 3 back to back. I definitely preferred 2, I hate to say it but it felt more cinematic and on a much grander scale, the set pieces were much better (I really didn't like the ship junk yard, for example) 3 felt a lot smaller and shorter by comparison and ended very abruptly when I only felt like I was about two thirds of the way through. On the 3DS I finished Professor Layton and the Azran Legancy. It's the last of the six mainline games so I'm done with the series now. It was certainly a roller coaster ride and there were a few plot twists in there that I didn't expect at all. It was kind of like Sixth Sense where I want to go through the entire series and see if what I know now ties into all the games (definitely won't be doing that though - I don't think the games are really replayable as much as I enjoy them) I also preferred the selection of puzzles this time and didn't seem to get as frustrated with as many of them. Sad to think there's no more of them to come. Pretty pleased with myself with all that lot done. Still a scary amount of games in my backlog I haven't even touched though...
  9. I finished the story of Lego City Undercover yesterday, it was my first lego game and was great fun. I was only at around a quarter completion and while I'm not going to try and 100% get everything I will definitely play through the main missions again now I've got all the abilities and have a run around the city and complete the more obvious things. I was surprised how much there was to do - loads of side missions like races, speed free running etc. and almost every building has some way you can interact with it, to climb or find a way inside and the map was cool, there's mini versions of different US cities and it really is open world you can go everywhere right off the bat. What are the other lego games like? I know they get decent reviews but I don't really know what sort of gameplay they have, and are all the different franchises the same genre?
  10. It's the internet: the argument is never over.
  11. My first Amiibo will be the knitted Yoshi, which is cuter than an entire internet worth of kittens. I just bought Fairune on the 3DS as it's on sale but it's free in the Play store, without in-app purchases so...
  12. Woah that sounds awful what game is that? The reason I don't play co-op is I worry I'll be the weak link if I was that responsible for people dying I don't know how anyone could enjoy themselves
  13. PC-only gamers ... so bloody pretentious. There's a shocker. Being on the other end of the scale (a Nintendo gamer) I'm going to have to ask what level geometry actually is?
  14. Wow, classy. How's that going down with people given that he's actually done something legitimately dickish unlike the women who got death and rape threats and home addresses published.
  15. Good grief. I can't say I like ukip but this is ridiculous. Jimmy white and sausage rolls is hardly. £10K in a brown envelope under the table. In fact if anything it's going to help ukip as this will really resonate with the PC-gone-mad brigade which are very much the ukip demographic.
  16. Every shop has to charge 5p for any single use bag a customer wants. It's also in Wales and coming to England soon. The shops aren't supposed to profit from it the extra money goes to environmental causes. Though they can choose to give anywhere from all to none of the money away (at least in Wales). Unfortunately it's not clear which retailers do what with the money. Is not about money though it's just to make the customer stop and think if they really need a bag and I have to say it really does work very well. You get used to it very quickly-i always had a fabric bag on me before the law anyway but when I go shopping in England now it just seems awful when the cashier starts shoving an item in a bag without even asking and I have to stop them or you see people with half a dozen bags from different stores all with only one item in each so they could ask easily fit in one. It's all just done so unthinkingly and if you stopped and asked someone they'd agree it's bad and that's why the charge is good, it does the stopping and thinking for you
  17. Woah. That's a comparison between 150 and 200. That's insane, can you image if it was compared to 50CC, you'd have completed the fast one before the 50CC was over the starting line. This one shows with the higher speed you can use new shortcuts. I wonder if that means this was planned from the start?
  18. The lead singer's solo stuff is supposed to be quite good.
  19. I wonder why it isn't on PSN, it looks cool, but I wouldn't play it if I got it on PC.
  20. If they don't have a decent account system when they relaunch in Autumn, I think I will permanently give up hope for it (well, at least for this hardware generation) The reason I'm semi-hopeful is they've referred to it repeatedly as a membership service which includes a reward program aspect, so it is not just a rehash of club nintendo. Fingers crossed it's not paid, as that's the feeling I get from the way they keep referring to it. AMD has said they are creating two semi-custom (one x86, one ARM) designs to be released in 2016, at least one of which is a games console. There are lots of rumours swirling around that it's nintendo's new console, or even that both of them are if it's some sort of handheld/home hybrid. Also, that that's the reason for the Zelda delay to do a TP style multi-platform launch. Of course it's all wild speculation but certainly a possibility. Mr. GOH!: The only consistent negativity I see on this forum is from you, toward Nintendo, and if it was on a big gaming site so I didn't see all the other good stuff you post I would think you were trolling. I usually ignore negativity - there's a lot of posts (not just Nintendo-related) here and elsewhere I'd like to make but don't, as I don't want to get into drama , but I replied to your post with a snarky comment because I was in a bad mood, which was not the coolest move but I don't think entirely undeserved. No hard feeling I hope. If so I apologise.
  21. there's not a chance in hell nintendo is doing anything to make virtual console games look good, they didn't even fix the PAL/NTSC frequency issues that actually make games run incorrectly never mind bother with prettying them up.
  22. I don't know if early access is different to greenlight, but someone was raving about Crypt of the Necrodancer on a podcast I listen to (Gamecentral podcast, which is brilliant if you're looking for a podcast to listen to) It's a rhythm game rogue-like. You can even use it with a dance mat if you can dig one of those out.
  23. It looks insane. Can't wait to have a go but will definitely be in permanent eighth place.
