I really want to see gravity falls. What is that other one with the gifs? The other one I keep seeing on tumblr is over the fence or something? Someone with a teapot on their head. Looks good but I don't have any of these on my TV.

I know you're joking, but I do suck at videogames! I'm coming to embrace it and enjoy them in a way that's right for me (e.g. I'm playing uncharted 2 on very easy at the moment and having a lot more fun). It's the first time I played a FF games so the corridors weren't a disappointment to me. I only wanted to get as far as the open area to feel like I've given it a decent chance. I'm sure I could get through it eventually but what's the point if I'm feeling more frustration than fun whenever I go back to it. I just don't think the game clicked with me for whatever reason. I don't get those motorbike people that help you, I don't get the weapon upgrade system. I was just wading through all that because I thought I've spent so much time on it it seems like a waste not to complete it, but I am seeing it differently now in that it is a waste for me to struggle on. I am seriously considering deleting my save to stop the temptation of going back as I've been on and off for ages. Not sure why this particular game haunts me as there are loads I've not completed and they've not bothered me to the point I can't even remember half of them. I'm guessing my copy of FF XIII 2 will be staying in its shrink wrap as well.

It's strange this game has been brought up as I just finally gave up on it for good. I've been on and off with it for ages but persevered until you get to the plains when everyone says it opens up and gets good. I kept getting killed by the first "dinosaur" out there and ended up looking how to beat it online. Many people said you can't beat them yet so I ran through the area to the chasm and went through there easy enough. Went off on the side route and got killed by the robot that kept spawning minions, so I thought to myself maybe you're supposed to come back when you're more powerful so didn't mind too much. Went back down the main route, the lift opened and one swipe of the robot's arm and I was dead, literally before I had a change to do anything. This happened 3 times and I am officially done.

When my boyfriend told me to stop impersonating a flamingo, I had to put my foot down.

What are you listening to now?
TheFlyingGerbil replied to Chronixal's topic in Entertainment Exchange
speaking of soundtracks... I just heard this on a podcast - never actually played the game but the song is super catchy. In fact so catchy I imagine it would slowly drive you mad! -
you'll see when the strike is over - if there is suddenly stock then they've either made extra stuff and shipped it or he's telling the truth. Either was is a result. If they aren't stuck and they have no intention of making more then it seems weird he would outright lie as it would only annoy people with no positives.

I technically can play MM now as I have it on Gamecube, and still have my gamecube to play it on, but I loved the 3D so much and the crisper graphics on the OoT remake I want to play the new edition MM, and on the new 3DS for the more stable 3D. I've waited this long so can wait a little longer.

My rule for sales bothering me is if I actually get around to playing it before the drop I don't mind. In theory. I don't tend to look at game prices after I've bought one though so it has to jump out at me. Big purchases though I actually scour the internet for cheaper prices after I've bought it, and I can't think what that will do other than annoy me. I am a bit better at not doing that now but it's still a problem.

they did sort of say they were looking at that issue didn't they now that they try and have worldwide releases for more of their products? Guess that wouldn't happen until next gen though if at all, and then probably only on retail not eShop.

That's very nice of you, Alex Heat. I wish my roommate got me wet. I'm not buying Majora's Mask until Nintendo have a special edition New 3DS I want to play it on. And that wasn't the MM one as I had plenty of opportunity to buy that monstrosity. And the ambassador edition I would easily have bought but was only the small one. Kind of wished I'd bought them both for mega profit though I don't think that would have gone down too well here, lol.

what? It's not like I let on zombie Francis Drake made it off the island. Oops!

I'm playing Uncharted 2. I got it at launch. I just want it done with so am playing on Very Easy and not going out of my way to look for treasures and will not be replaying it on harder levels. I think because I was frustrating myself with the first one on crushing I'm enjoying this one quite a bit more and the fighting seems more spread out so far though I'm only up to where you meet Elena.

I didn't even need to press play to hear it-it's just engrained in the UK psyche waiting for any opportunity to be unleashed.

"I don't accept that first point as a valid reason at all. Because the game has fewer modes of play, that makes it worth more?" That's not what I said. I said it maintains it perceived value better, and it does. NIntendo's focus on offline play, (whether single or multiplayer) means if you buy NSMB Wii U* today or when it launched you will have the same experience. If you booted up most 2/3 year old online focused games the lobby would be a ghost town That means if you buy it now most of the value left is from the single player portion of the game so a lot of the perceived value is gone. The rest of that paragraph agrees with what I say in the last paragraph - that more games should maintain their value, not just Nintendo's, so don't get me wrong I am not arguing Nintendo games are better or inherently worth more. *not saying how good that game actually is, just that it's been out longer than 3D World, so is a better comparison edit: I do think if the whole market went the same way as Nintendo's games we would actually be in a much better position, both for consumers and publishers. Fewer, better quality games that are actually worth their asking price, which you would be happy to pay as you know that price won't have halved by the time you finish the game. Of course this can never really happen now unless the recent closures/mergers become an all out crash (which may happen?) or all heads of major publishers decided a unanimous step change in how they carried out their business (which won't happen heads of companies (in any field) seem loathe to make long term decisions that are hard in the short term as it freaks shareholders out).
-
I think that's the point? Without online you're getting the same experience when you buy a game now or in a year's time. TL,DR: Nintendo games sell at full price for a long time, other publishers would sell their games full price for a long time if they could.

So you're to blame... How much of Happy Endings did you watch? Apparently most people hated it at first but warmed to it by the end of the first season. Even the critics admitted they were wrong about it and that takes some doing for a critic to admit that! I would like new girl if they'd just stop shouting. It's literally 90% of the dialogue. I actually find if quite stressful to watch because of that. Not sure which one you think is effeminate though?

LOL that when you click on the link it is down for maintenance.

you should copy the content of your current SD card to you PC /before/ you do a transfer, as once that is started who know where the hell your data is until the transfer is finished.
-
Wahoo, Happy Endings is coming back this Winter! It always seems to be hanging on by a thread. It's such a funny show I don't understand what makes something successful and something else stuggle - e.g. I don't think I've met anyone that thinks 2 Broke girls is funny but it seems to keep returning regardless.

have you tried turning off background data (or even data all together), bluetooth and wifi and restarting your phone, and not loading up any apps. that way you've not got unknown apps running nor high drain wireless. obviously that's not a longterm solution but it may help you discount some things or make you more confident it;s the battery.

because he is hella ugly and doesn't work in French cinema.

Yes, I said that it is because I am not used to it, why are you trying to have another argument? Have you not reached your quota for today.
