I'm sure I've seen a photo of it and it's a button. Can't find it now though. While I was having a look I did find a new bit of info. The new ones will have changeable covers. So all those £200 special editions should now be £20 covers and hopefully as a pack-in with new games for an extra tenner. Quite excited by that news as I've seen some I love (animal crossing and link between worlds spring to mind) but I couldn't bring myself to buy a new console just for a change of colour but could be tempted by a cover

It's on the right side. That home button is looking very lonely below the screen now, though I do like that they've moved start and select to where you'd expect them.

There's a new version of 3DS and 3DS XL coming out this year in Japan and 2015 in EU/USA. -It has a right analogue stick -an extra pair of shoulder buttons -camera tracks face to minimise ghosting/maximise sweet spot -faster processor (mentioned for faster OS operation, rather than beefier games) -micro SD instead of SD -coloured ABXY buttons. -Moved the start/select buttons to the right of the screen. So what do you guys think? Look like a worthy upgrade? Nice to see they're improving the 3D, as they seemed to have sidelined it, and apart from the small sweetspot I love 3D so this is great news for me and makes it a major temptation. I wonder if the processor and shoulder buttons/right stick will result in exclusive games, or more likely games that can detect being in the new console and take advantage of the features. Or more likely still not utilised at all. eta: they already announced a port of xenoblade chronicles which is exclusive to the new consoles, taking advantage of both the new controls and extra processing power, so that's that question answered to an extent - still need to see how much support it will get. Downsides are the right stick looks more like a nub, in an awkward position and also the two shoulder buttons being in a straight line looks like you may end up hitting both by accident - I guess we won't know what that's like until we get our hands on it. the wii u gamepad feels a lot better than it looks like it should so it not definitely going to be awful. Overall, I will probably be a fool and upgrade but I don't think people will feel like they're being left too far behind if they don't want to buy it.

It's a dense foam that's half chewy and half dissolve-y. I really can't think of anything to compare it to, certainly nothing natural.

It does seem like the best one to postpone especially considering the AC game prices seem to drop even faster than most and I guess you wouldn't be too interested in its multiplayer.

I bought my key direct from MS during the £25/$40 offer they had when 8 first launched. Looking around the internet pretty much everyone hates the way MS has handled the release of 8.1. It's definitely deliberate on MS's part to stop people with 8 keys from downloading 8.1 - why even make them incompatible keys? They even updated the downloaders to stop a semi-easy workaround. And worst of all no one can find a logical reason for it. There's proper tech guys scratching their heads about it and not able to come up with a reason nor solution. I'm sure I could sort it out but it's just not worth the hassle. I'm up and running now, just with a few GB of my new SSD wasted and the feeling I don't have a nice clean install.

I installed 8 and upgraded to 8.1 straight away. What I gave up on was installing 8.1. Thanks to eleven's help I managed to get get an 8.1 iso and it installed but my 8 key wouldn't activate it and I just can't be arsed trying to work out exactly how I could resolve that. There are so many little issues that add up to one big headache.

I was just downloading the free Mercedes cars (don't judge me!) and you can already purchase the two DLC packs even though the LoZ isn't out until november and the Animal Corssing one is may. That's seems pretty weird and un-Nintendo. Anyway, they're £7 each or both for £11 so that's an OK saving and didn't show any sign it was a limited time offer. I think I'll buy the double pack when the first one comes out

do any of them have pre-order bonuses/offers? Otherwise why not just buy them when you're able to play them, you'd probably save an extra games worth of money by doing that.

I found out the shrimp are raspberry flavour, which I never knew before. Mind you when I used to have them they were penny sweets not pre-pracked and I would never guess from the taste (or the shrimp shape!)

I had bananas and shrimps today for the first time in ages and they were exactly how I remembered them. Such a weird texture and I still wonder how they decided these were two things that belong together. Everyone at work was pretty excited too as they're not the sort of thing you buy. They kept saying, "Oh no I don't like them", while stuffing them down.

I am finally using my Samsung 840 Evo 250GB SSD. On mother humping windows 8 though. I may try again with Windows 8.1 but quite frankly for now I can't take any more. Mind you I'm hearing rumours about Windows 9 now so I may just wait and see how that can destroy my mind.

I guess they're stuck between PS3 winding down, PS4 not at full steam yet and vita... being the vita.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm most intrigued about the animal crossing track. Hope they do a discount for buying both packs. as it is they seem to have priced it just under what it would cost if you split up the main game so that's quite good value as most dlc is worse value than the full game. I wonder if you'll be able to use it in online multi player, seems unlikely at least in random matchups.

I'm playing Fez at the moment, and not really enjoying it. My memory is too pants to remember any of the clues hidden about, and while I've worked the map out it's not very fun navigating around the world. I'm guessing I'm about half way though, but it's hard to tell. I was sort of happy to plod along but I've got to a level where you have to climb up faster than rising acid and I just hate that sort of level in generally and it's particularly annoying in this with spinning platforms so I think I'm done.
