So annoyed right now. Got an email a few days ago saying my plus is about to run out turn on automatic funding and it would auto renew my subscription. It makes it sound like auto renewal is off and I know auto funding is off so I ignore it as I'd just bought a subscription card that I was going to apply. Come today and another email pops in saying thanks for buying a subscription to plus and it's only gone and taken money out of my account. I am so hacked off. I expected this problem when I had gold but I've never heard anyone mention it with plus so it's just taken £12 out of my account for 3 months plus when my card was only £30 for a year and I've got no money in my account for games.

Seriously? "OMG! Don't want to encourage adults to use Martian speed, now do we?" Apparently it was only a 20 minute mission where that happened, so they just removed it. In other news, apparently the alien anal probe weapon gets to stay. That one actually seems more objectionable to me. I just don't even know anymore. Drugs are okay but not sex? An alien probe weapon be more rape-y than sexy though

I'm guessing, since so far Wii U is the Nintendo lazy-cash-in-machine (Pikmin 3, Zelda WW HD remake, super mario u, super mario world are all rejigs of previous games) any ideas of adding new content to the game was slapped down hard and fast. Even WW HD being released as full price retail hacks me off - think of the HD updates on PS3 where they put collections together and release them at a budget price and I struggle to see the value of Nintendo's offering.

To expand on Ethan's point (still no sources, but I read it on the Nintendo official site and it was someone like Aonuma, so not just some random rumour) the reason they're not going to add the extra dungeons back in is because they were already recycled in to subsequent Zelda games so there simply aren't two unseen dungeons waiting to be popped back in to WW.

I'm guessing that makes it the mouse of choice for webmasters of trainer/sneaker fetish sites.

This may come in handy if any of you are trying to keep on top of your encyclopaedia/museum exhibits.

people have that many Facebook friends, so it's only a matter of time before people start hitting up against that limit. 2000 people's updates streaming past you on your home screen (what's the official name for that?) would be a nightmare, can you imagine it on launch day for a big game? I wonder if you can prioritise "best friends" as there's probably people who you're going to be keener to see updates on than others.

hmmm, this is quite the surprise for me - I thought it was out this week for some reason? No idea how I got that idea in my head. So seeing it is the end of the year now is a bit of a downer, but since it seems to only be £20 most places it may make a good Christmas present idea when my brother inevitably asks me what I want.

definitely it's worth learning asap for anyone, even if you've no intention of getting a car - you never know when you want/need one, e.g. a job comes up that you need it for, and it is easier to buy/hire a car than learn to drive, take your tests and buy a car - most opportunities will have passed by that time. Plus it will only get harder and more expensive.

the back panel has a bit of flex on the XL but apart from that the build quality is fine. I don't think the hinges have been great on either size - a bit wobbly. I had early ones of both sizes so I don't know if they've improved the stiffness on those. I don't know if they've rectified the problem but on the original 3DS, when it was closed the bottom screen left marks on the top one - not exactly sterling design. also the 3 buttons along the bottom are proper buttons on the XL not that plastic sheet with pointy buttons underneath you feel like you're going to wear through. Does the original still come with a cradle? I bought one for my XL as it is a great thing, but expensive for what it is and don't forget the XL doesn't even come with a charger (at least not in the EU) oh, and 4 new posts since I started this one, making some of my points repetitious, but I can't be bothered rewriting it.

I've had both and honestly there is no comparison. The XL is definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

I made home-made gnocchi for the first time today. I think they turned out well: they were light and not chewy nor doughy and not watery. Though I've only had gnocchi once before so I don't exactly have a lot of experience for comparison. I fried half to see what that was like and I have to say that I preferred them to the ones that were just boiled. We had them with spinach and sausage and alfredo sauce (home-made also, of course). All very nice, I must say.

My flag is "squack" the avatar I drew and use most places, though not here for a while. I haven't really drawn any clothes yet. I'm having a nightmare with my paths. I spent ages designing single tile patterns. then decided I wanted a double width path I spent a good while making a double width path all around town, but couldn't design one I was happy with except a bright yellow and orange one, but it ended up just being too much path all over the place. Now I've kicked all those up and am in the middle of laying a single path down again. I'm trying to decide on whether to do one with corners or just a single repeating tile. ATM, I'm just using the one I got from the Nintendo of Europe village until I decide, as ideally I will end up with one I designed myself. The main problem is I would LOVE the designer to have a transparent colour so the edges didn't have to be square and you could blend in to the grass better - it really limits your design choices. After I've got that sorted I'm going to look at hybrids - the ones I have at the moment have just come about by accident. Someone came over last night and laid some flowers out for me in a design that encourages hybrids, and even watered most of my flowers for me! The problem with them this time is you have to use bought ones the natural ones don't work, or give you the full range of colours, and I've got so many flowers now I have no idea which I bought and which appeared themselves.

I know it's not from this forum (it's white-listed, I promise!). It's the sort of ad that you see on the side of naughty websites. hang on a minute...
