Are there ever any offers on the Plus subscription? With LIVE, if your subscription lapses the send you offers (e.g. 2 months of £2) and they often have general offers, such as buy a year get 1 month or MS points free. I know Plus is a different proposition and I'm not arguing it's value which I definitely see, but is it worth keeping an eye out, or is it pretty much the 1 year = £40, no exceptions.

TED talk from the design curator at MoMA on why she wanted games in there. It's an interesting watch and an interesting point that great design doesn't and shouldn't try to be art. edit: It's been sat in a tab for a few days so I hope it wasn't here I got it from - apologies if it was.

omg, I saw a picture of that pilot name thing, and assumed it was just a joke someone had mocked up. I didn't realise it had really made it on to a news broadcast. I'm guessing someone was on the last day of their job there - whether they knew that at the time or not.

This is the new gameplay video, showing more how you'd actually be playing the game rather than highlighting specific aspects of it . I think It looks really good to me. I just wonder how what ratio of boat to land stuff there is and I don't want endless sailing between fun bits.

I don't think it will bother me personally, and I doubt it will make that much difference to battery life, but it seems strange that you can't turn it off when the console doesn't even come with an eye.

omg I would love being able to overhear people talk about me - it's really useful. I'd be tempted to be really petty and not do any of their dishes at all as they probably don't even realise how quickly they stack up. I guess a more sensible compromise is to only do them when there are witnesses.

That's great news and I hope there is some small consolation in the fact that although you will miss Parker terribly, Booker still being so young should bounce right back to his original puppyish joy, which hopefully in turn will help you.
