  1. How did I miss this? Can't see what's new they could bring to it? Lush 60fps HD graphics, online racing? They're very careful with DLC on their family oriented franchises, so Mario Kart 8 probably either won't see it, will only offer free stuff or will only bring out one or two major additions (a la Super Luigi Bros. DLC) F Zero is a well know brand with experienced/older gamers that will know the score with DLC so Nintendo could try a different angle with it. DLC tracks and ships/upgrades, new modes, etc. Maybe even bring the core game out at a lower price as a download only release. It's a great mid tier franchise for them to experiment with.
  2. Another temptation for New Leaf... Resetti had been sacked.
  3. Kind of weird it has over 900,000 views but not a single comment...
  4. well, it's all right on places like this as it's not like a traditional conversation and there will be another person or topic along shortly, but when it is one on one, it is just super awkward. It's a bit like if there are a group of people actually talking in real life - there may be a couple of people talking about one subject and the others just agreeing or laughing add to the atmosphere and make the conversation more lively, and others will join in and drop out of the chat as the topics transition. If there is only two of you if one of you isn't participating then it literally isn't a conversation any more.
  5. Which is your favourite decade?
  6. @ Dean. ugh. If it will stop you posting these videos, lol.
  7. people who start an online conversation with you and then after everything you write just put "haha" or whatever and never actually put anything for you respond to and continue the conversation. I feel guilty just abandoning the conversation but they make it such hard work. I'm hardly the best chatter to begin with.
  8. if that video was meant to sell me...

so it sounds more like it's reinforcing gender stereotypes than challenging them?
  10. I don't know which one to choose? I have played none of the games and I don't even think one of the logos looks any nicer than the others.
  11. Are they good for points? I hope not because I absolutely hate them.
  12. I won a copy of Fire Emblem in a Facebook competition. I already had the game so I took it in to CEX today and got ÂŁ25 cash for it which is pretty neat as it's more than I paid for the copy I bought so overall I'm quids in and still have a copy of the game. Happy.

    Taxes

as long as they're giving you money not taking it, it could be worse!

    Taxes

So they just sent is back but you didn't get in trouble for not paying it in the first place? Is that because you tried to pay it instead of them coming after you for it? And sorry for the super dumb question but does everyone in USA file tax returns? Generally, only self-employed people do it here in the UK.
  15. here's a video of reggie fils aime's house, showing some of the cool stuff you can get and I assume that it is full sized. I think I'm going to put all my nintendo artefacts in the museum. Definitely want them displayed though.
  16. beetles and fish with fins sticking out of the water. That method just maximises your chances of getting the two of them.
  17. I hope for the sake of the tens of thousands of customers trying to do that all at once on launch and then again on christmas day it isn't as tortuous as the Wii U day one download experience. grim.
  18. He looks a lot bigger in the photo than in the videos - I wasn't expecting him to be a little kitten.he got the hang of the feathers quickly enough. What would your wife like to call him? I like Goliath, but it is very masculine and quite the mouth full, so I can see her point. It;s hard to shorten unless you just went for a completely different pet name (if you'll excuse the pun). Golly is a cute abbreviation, but I guess not something you'd want to use? I don't think I'd be comfortable using it though at least he's ginger so it could be worse. (am I going to hell for saying that?)
  19. On the island (not the tours) chop down the normal trees and dig up the hibiscus and flowers, so all that's left is the palm trees. Then keep walking around the edge of the island fishing for fish with fins sticking out of the water and the beetles that are on the palm trees. Chase all the small bugs and hermit crabs into the sea when you see them to maximise the number of beetles you get. For the same reason you can also chase off the small fish by yanking the pole out of the water when they first bite. When your pockets are full empty them in to the box to the right of the reception desk and when that is full travel back to your village. A few trips to the llamas et voilĂ : beaucoup de l'argent.
  20. RAGE QUIT. I have enough money to pay of my 198,000 loan went to the post office and couldn't make a loan payment, Nooks Homes closes at 8! That means I can't pay it off until tomorrow and the next upgrade be built until Sunday. Grrr. At least I'll have my new bridge tomorrow. In a bit of good news though, I made the 198,000 in one trip to the island. That could be a life saver/game ruiner I can't decide yet.

who uses it outside of that context though? Point in case, you're a clever guy and seem not to have come across it. And yes it's a shame these isn't a less scientific, more friendly sounding term for it but it is still a topic that makes people uncofortable so I guess that's why there aren't so many colloquialisms outside of insults.
  22. My room looks like a bad acid trip and I'm not bothered with it staying that way until I've got more than one and can start themeing them. Satrunine, I added you my code's 3437-3195-3803.

I addressed that in my post but to be clear, if you (by that I mean he) feel that way make a post about it on your blog where you can form your opinion and provide context. Don't post a tweet that makes you look like an absolute arsehole and back it up by tweeting things that just look worse and then making a blog post that doesn't actually clarify your position or apologise. Treading on eggshells is a very real problem worthy of discussion. Lots of people with good intentions get themselves into trouble and get attacked for it and it makes it difficult to get the discussion into the general public and normalise the issue because people fear saying the wrong thing. He's just reinforcing why people out there are hyper sensitive though by being completely insensitive himself.
