  1. it's a 40 second video, but I cannot embed it. here serious stuff.
  2. "fist me like u tryna get the last couple pringles"
  3. more of a prank than a joke but still pretty terrible.
  4. The two 3DS games had £5 off when you bought the them together. the offer wasn't unadvertised so it was a nice surprise at the till. It meant I got the two of them for £23 each, £10 cheaper than a lot of places. I just need to buy fire emblem now and I'll get Animal Crossing for free. It also netted me a £5 gift card so I got Liberation for £13. I love Playstation Plus but I have to say it makes me wonder which games I should actually be buying for my PS3/vita. I guessed for that price I wouldn't be too upset if I saw it for free but I don't think it's the sort of game they'd have on there.
  5. omg also omg the music also omgwatchthewholedamnthing
  6. of course it is a lot less cute because one is a completely different size to the others...
  7. I don't know if I'm ever going to grow up... On the bright side if you're like me you get to have two more birthdays this year!
  8. could it be the "IR blaster" port that's used to control the cable box?
  9. It was done in broad daylight with people watching/filming and they guys just standing around afterwards. The main perpetrator went up to some of the people filming saying it was done in the name of allah and he killed the man in front of women and children because that is what's happening everyday by british soldiers. So it's being classed as an act of terror. Well, some may say murder is murder. But, hacking someone to death is definitely an item of note that should invoke an emotional response. We are human, after all. An emotional response is fine and appropriate, I meant that the emotions shouldn't be taken into the justice system. It's too easy to say "string them up" in the heat of the moment but a society shouldn't run on its emotions.
  10. no we don't have the death penalty. I'd say this is why - it's very easy to let your emotions run high on issues like this.
  11. I understand that they were revealing the platform and there will be more game related info at E3 but to have not even one second of gameplay in an hour long presentation - I feel almost insulted though unfortunately not surprised. Kind of drove the point home when the only mention Halo - their marquee title - was as a TV show. One thing I don't understand is the "deep relationship" with EA. I get the times exclusives with CoD (seriously cheap way to win over customers - heaven forbid they actually create some compelling exclusive content). but what's special with EA? I've seen it mentioned in a few interviews without actually saying what it was.
  12. that blade runner cover reminds me a lot of heavy rain. I'd love to watch it again but I've only got it on VHS, and no way to play it.
  13. That's an interesting read FMW. I think the games market is too big now to just concentrate on one region and succeed though. Hopefully mass appeal in Japan plus enthusiast support in the west is enough for them to carry on in the hardware business. Also, with the main draw in Japan being handhelds I don't know if this is the best plan of attack. Unless they are worried about the drain to smartphones and are hoping they get people back to home gaming. Maybe the threat of smartphones is overstated - at least in the short term. ...unrelated... The posts by 100 year old gamer (the OP) whether they are true or not make for interesting reading. Link
  14. wow, who'd have thought jumping over an audience might end badly also,
  15. this is an official video: I know it's a teaser but if they used an actual PS4 it looks like a cube? edit: also, the e3 conference is 6pm PDT on 10 June. That makes it 2am british time! I don't see why they couldn't put it on in the afternoon so we could see it over here live at 10pm or even 11/midnight.
  16. I know a lot of people said they won't buy a Wii U until there is a 3D mario out but they're probably the kind of people who won't actually buy it anyway and are lost to nintendo now. Mario Kart Wii sold more than twice as many copies as Galaxy 1 and 2 combined. If they can advertise the hell out of a new mario kart and show a compelling reason why it's better than the Wii one then I think that will be most likely to sell most systems.
  17. I would be excited except it doesn't mean they'll be out any time soon. they've mentioned new zelda in a direct by simply saying they are in the planning stages and it won't be seen for years without so much as a piece of concept art. not to mention thy seem very happy to keep repeating themselves with the information they give out in Directs rather than sticking to new information.
  18. In the spirit of Eurovision I'll let peace flow through the nations. this time.

Everyone knows that everything of pop cultural significance of the last century came from the US. The Office, The Beatles, Whose Line Is It Anyway, the list goes on...

We all know if Eurovision had come from America it would have been an NA-only singing competition called "Worldvision".

Also America did come up with the "Beat-alls" and they were pretty neat.
