  1. It's critical for my fragile feeling of self-worth.
  2. I did think about that. Mostly what I thought was it would be a lot of work.
  3. So, it's nearly that time of year again. What do you want to see? What do you think you'll actually see? Who do you think will win this year? It seems it is Sony's to lose. 4. kingdom's of amalur has just been added in the EU too, which I think is decent? I hope so anyway as I just downloaded it yesterday.
  5. doesn't the ps4 come with the new ps eye thing, or is that optional?
  6. a cool, cheap tip for all you Halloween obsessed Americans. (not exactly timely I know!)
  7. ooh, that would be good. I'm going to be disappointed with anyone that isn't him now. THANKS!
  8. I finished three games today The Cave as I already mentioned above, and Welcome Park (is that classed as a game?) by finally finishing that bloomin' 15 piece slide puzzle in 41s which I was quite pleased with. I also finished Sly 3. I enjoyed it and will probably get 4 at some point, though I haven't actually read if it's any good or not. I had a go at a couple of the challenges, but since I found them pretty tricky even in the first chapter I guess this is going to be the first Sly game I don't get a platinum on Did anyone complete all the challenges? Do they get progressively harder or is a mix all the way through?
  9. I know what doesn't have to go in here now. Slide puzzles. I finally finished the 15 piece puzzle in Vita's Welcome Park, and got it in 41secs so well under in the end. I ended up looking up a technique to solve them, though obviously it can't so it for me so I don't think it was too cheaty. The problem was the stupid ability to slide pieces to the other side of the board actually makes it harder because it means you don;t necessarily have a true puzzle and can end up with the last three pieces impossible to place if you follow a standard solving method. Grrr. I say that they don't make me angry but I'll be happy if I never play one again.
  10. so, for you lucky people in the US New Leaf is out in a week. Have you thought of your character and village names yet? Are you going to use one's you have previously, or come up with something new? I haven't decided yet but do have an extra week as I'm in the EU I'm thinking about being a girl character this time because they look so cute.Though I'll probably wuss out of that. I think I'm going to name my village Koholint and if I choose a girl, she'll be Marin. I guess that means I could call the boy Tarin but I don't like that as much.
  11. I wonder if someone could write a script that detects any mention of windows 8 and moves it in here automatically. edit: This was my 2000th post. What a classic. lol.
  12. I've played The Cave as much as I'm going to. I completed it with all the characters, so I could do all the puzzles but not bothered with the good/bad ending for each as that is just too much of the game for me. I think they should have added in a way to bypass at least the generic puzzles (Zoo, Mine, Island) after the first playthrough because man, did it get repetitive. I liked it well enough though despite the fact there was far too much jumping around and too many dead ends.
  13. Fable was good for that, it even showed you on the map where stuff was selling cheap and buying high.
  14. weight (and BMI) is the worst measure for fitness and size - you should go on how you look and how you feel and if your results are getting noticed then it must be going well. If you want to have an actual number to measure then I guess the best thing is your body fat percentage.
  15. I pretty much never buy a game in the first month it's released so I would feel like I'm missing out but I would hardly complain as I know full well that is when they want me to buy the game. It may make me more likely to wait for a GOTY edition depending on what sort of DLC they were offering.
  16. everyone in TV and films uses flip phones even though they are borderline impossible to buy. It's weird but I think it is because it is very visual when someone takes/ends a call and you can put a bit of emotion into closing it etc.
  17. Look at the nipples YOU WILL DIE
  18. I feel sorry for people who can't work out how to use it :/ It's not that different and it's not that complicated. It's sort of the flexibility of a desktop OS with the simplicity of a mobile OS. Anyone who has used a smartphone or a PC shouldn't be struggling with it.
  19. apparently it's on the Japanese Play store, and it was initially announced as coming to both platforms in the West.
  20. Isn't that the next logical step in Microsoft's consumer relations.
  21. it seems you have to keep going back between the two games is all - I just thought you finished one, got a password and played the second. Though I think you only need to go back and forth if you want extra items, not if you just want the slightly altered game so I probably won't bother with that. Now I just need to decide which I should play first. I think I'll have to try and find if one has a better altered game that the other.
  22. has the android version died the death?
  23. I like the start screen and I'm glad they're not dumping it - I'm sure by the time Windows 9 rolls around people will be moaning if they take it out.
