  1. This was today's deal on Chrono.gg. I got it for five bucks. If you haven't heard of it, it's a strategy/stealth game where you have to sneak into your neighbor's obnoxiously loud party at 3 AM and kill everyone inside without getting caught by the police.
  2. I am finally playing Witcher 2 and it is so much better than the original. Witcher 1 isn't a bad game, not at all, but it really hasn't aged well over the years and the combat in 2 is a vast improvement. I'm still glad I played the first one since I can better understand the story in 2, but I'm not rushing through this one just to get to Witcher 3 like I did with the first one.
  3. Why are auto-detect settings in PC games so useless? Like I would ever play Witcher 2 in 4:3.

    1. Pojodin

      Pojodin

9:21 Aspect ratio. Super tall and narrow screen.

  4. There's a Mario and Luigi game on Wii U?
  5. I BEAT THE WITCHER. FINALLY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I HAVE FINISHED THE GAME AND CAN AT LONG LAST MOVE ON TO THE SUPERIOR SEQUELS. SUCK MY BALLS, WITCHER.
  6. Impulse buy from that deal I mentioned in the other thread.
  7. If you were interested in Vermintide, here's a site that's selling steam keys for 18 dollars. The catch is that this site only sells one game per day and the deal disappears after 24 hours, so if you want it at this price then this is your only chance. https://chrono.gg/tb edit: If you're worried about the site's reputation, TotalBiscuit says they're legit. I don't know if his word means anything to you or not, but he is a major Youtube personality and if the site wasn't legit then he would probably get into a huge amount of trouble with his audience.
  8. Got it for 36 bucks. Thanks for the tip, Daniel.
  9. Oh right, Canadian dollars. I thought you were talking about, you know, real money. On an unrelated note, the uplay version actually plays with Steam a lot nicer than expected. After I added the exe, it worked just the same as if I'd bought it on steam, minus things like trading cards. The only time uplay came up was after closing the game. Steam version is still preferable, I suppose, but if you end up finding a really good uplay deal then I'm just saying that it isn't THAT bad for this particular game.
  10. Isn't that just for the deluxe edition?
  11. So did anyone else end up getting this? Admittedly I only got it at launch because it was a free gift anyway, but so far I'm actually having a good time with it, and it's not giving me any of those nagging feelings of doubt like Destiny did.
  12. The Division is up! No, wait, spoke too soon. It's down now.

Well I take that back. It did go down once for about an hour or so, but after that my friend and I were both able to play for a while with no problems whatsoever. Gotta say, Ubisoft, I'm impressed that you managed to pull off a relatively smooth launch for a game like this.

  13. It would also cost a lot of money to market and distribute, but yeah, they clearly didn't think it would make back that money.
  14. I never said an indie game should never be 60 dollars. I said THIS game shouldn't be 60 dollars because it looks to me like it has no substance.
  15. Well, this is pretty accurate.
  16. See, this is exactly the kind of nonsense I'm talking about. Who made that dumb rule?
  17. You can only vote for the party you registered for, which is a complete crock if you ask me. I was registered as an independent until I was told this during a primary, so I grudgingly changed it to democrat because it was the lesser of two evils.
  18. Isn't that what it looks like when an app is updating?
  19. Zootopia. Honestly I went into this one expecting nice animation paired with 90 minutes of cheap animal stereotype gags, but it turned out to be a pretty thoughtful allegory about race relations. Those same animal stereotypes that are usually used for simple jokes are treated like hurtful stereotypes in this world, and there's real issues of trust and profiling between the predator and prey communities (this is a world where predator animals long ago evolved past their need to eat prey animals). The characters were very well written, especially the rabbit protagonist, Judy, who is quite lovable and clever but also ignorant in the sense that she thinks calling a predator an "articulate fellow" is a genuine compliment. This movie was surprisingly mature for its premise, and in my opinion the best film to come out of DAS since....I dunno, I'd have to go pretty far back. I would love to see a sequel someday.
  20. I've never actually read Playboy but I've heard they really do have pretty interesting articles from time to time.
  21. What's wrong with GMG? Granted, I only bought from them one time, but I didn't have any problems back then.
  22. Wow, how is this place so cheap?
  23. So Rise of the Tomb Raider is 20% off right now for some Square Enix weekend thing...but what are the odds it'll get a better deal during the Steam Easter Sale that we all know is coming? I've never had to actually pay attention to this sort of thing before.
