  1. I ended up going through the whole game with a missing gadget. It's right there in plain sight, but since it's not required to beat the game it's never actually pointed out and it's easy to overlook. If you missed it and want to know where it is, I'll put it in a spoiler for you guys.
  2. Post-game spoiler
  3. This is right. You also have to be holding the stick toward them before you do or he'll just dive out of the way. It took me a few tries to figure that one out.
  4. The first two episodes of the new Rick and Morty season got leaked, y'all. So either get 'em while they're hot or watch out for internet spoilers.
  5. I see one big problem about how this game handles objectives...mainly in that it doesn't tell you where stuff is unless it's story related or Alfred helps you out. I was doing the free-roam and driving around for over an hour, trying to find those last few checkpoints I needed to clear. Eventually I just gave up and consulted a map. I understand the value of letting players discover things for themselves, however...
  6. I think this might be the first movie based on a newspaper comic I've ever had any interest in.
  7. They do use it a little too much but I never really had any problems controlling it. The car itself is still fun to drive so the focus on it hardly ruins the game for me, I just feel like it goes on a little too long sometimes.
  8. On that note I find it annoying when people think their profile pictures are worth anything more than what it provides for their own personal amusement. Remember back when everyone on Facebook changed their profile pictures to cartoon characters to "raise awareness" of child abuse?
  9. You guys only have this problem because you're a bunch of filthy normies with girlfriends and wives. We single people with no families or romance in our lives have all the time we could ever want to play games.
  10. Man, it's been so long since I bought a ps4 game that I forgot they added in the standby feature. I know it only saves a couple minutes but it's so cool to boot up my ps4 and go right back to Arkham Knight without having to wait through loading and splash screens.
  11. Man I didn't buy a single thing during this steam sale. That's the first time this has ever happened since I started using steam. It feels weird.
  12. That is absolutely insane and only further emphasizes why we need a single payer system. Nobody should ever be forced to choose between their health and their house.
  13. Was it public knowledge before release that the Arkham Knight port wasn't being done by Rocksteady themselves? I never heard anything about it before the game was already out and I'm starting to feel like it should be illegal to withhold that kind of information if that's what was going on.
  14. I hate how everyone has gotten so used to calling it "Obamacare." It's a sarcastic label invented out of bitterness that makes people forget that it's actually called the Affordable Care Act, and whether you agree with it or not affordable care is something that is desperately needed because the health care system in this country fucking sucks. I currently owe 3,000 dollars for a hospital stay of less than four hours.
  15. It's worth noting that even after a steam refund, Valve keeps their 30% cut, so each refund actually costs WB Games that extra 30%.
  16. I never thought Arkham of all things would be the sacrificial lamb that puts the fear of God into the other AAA publishers. This is it, though. The first big game to really put the refund policy to the test. Hopefully the message gets across.
  17. For once I'm actually glad my PC is outdated. My friend is having all kinds of problems with the PC port and I can't help but feel like I dodged a bullet by getting the PS4 version.
  18. I saw Inside Out today, and I'm happy to say that it was a much needed return to form for Pixar after a rather worrying streak of underwhelming movies that began with Cars 2. While I don't think anything is ever going to top Wall-e and The Incredibles for me, I would still put this one in the top tier of Pixar's film list.
  19. It looks alright, but would I pay 60 bucks for it? Ehhhh....
  20. I'm really excited for Arkham Knight and all, but all this preorder and console/store exclusive DLC makes me want to puke. I wouldn't be surprised to find microtransactions at this point.

    1. Vecha

      Vecha

Yeah I'm gonna wait for the GOTY version with the ugly/tacky box cover.

  21. That would be great for wrestling games where you can make your own entrance.
  22. There's no such thing as a machine that will change your race, though. You can take hormones or get reassignment surgery if you're transgender, but no amount of wishful thinking will ever, EVER change your roots or where you came from, and it seems rather condescending to me for someone to act like they identify with a culture they are not really part of. I know Ethan wants to move away from the Dolezal example but it's the most prolific one right now so I'm afraid I have to use it again. Being a so-called "transracial" means denying your own parents. Any parents of any race can have a child of either gender, but two white parents will never, ever have a black child. You can't "identify" as black and reconcile yourself with that undeniable fact at the same time, which is why this woman faked having a black family. I'm sorry but that's just not mentally healthy. Nobody takes all these nerdy white kids seriously when they say that they're really japanese, so I don't know why it's even a discussion when it's a white woman who wishes she was black. Plus she's LITERALLY WEARING BLACKFACE. Why are people suddenly okay with that? If she had even a drop of black ancestry in her bloodline then I might be able to accept all this. If she was even 1/32nd black and she chose to identify with that heritage more than the 99% of her that's white then fine, whatever. But she isn't. She can have as many black friends as she wants, but she is not black, not even a little bit. To claim otherwise is...oh, what did they call it again...Oh yeah, "cultural appropriation." I thought that was supposed to be a bad thing.
