One Punch Man has made it's premiere. It's off to a pretty good start, and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in superheroes, or even just deconstructing superhero tropes.

I managed to snag this bad boy for myself by sheer dumb luck while I was out shopping earlier. I also picked up Zero Suit Samus for a friend. They also had the retro 3-pack but the only one of those I would really want is R.O.B. and I don't think they sell him separately so eh, whatever.

I'm starting to feel like more games should have a legitimate pacifism option. Not because I have a problem with violence in games or anything stupid like that, but just because I saw it done very well while I was playing Undertale. When I say "legitimate pacifism option" I mean the ability to go through the game nonviolently, or at least non-lethally, as something more than just a self-imposed challenge that the game clearly wasn't designed around. I think it could work very well for open world games and other RPGs if it's actually given proper consideration. Have characters that treat you differently if you never kill. Put in unique storylines or even endings for people who go through the whole game without taking a single life. Make the game acknowledge the extra effort you're putting forth to get through its challenges without resorting to murder. This wouldn't work for every game, obviously, but it should be used in games where it can work because that alone would give you a reason to play through it twice.

Because it's these words specifically that annoy the crap out of me, many of them being words that were used constantly in Invader Zim, and ever since then edgy kids try (and fail) to utilize this same kind of humor to appear quirky or something. Am I seriously the only person who has ever encountered this? Because it feels like it's fucking everywhere.

I really can't stand seeing all these cringeworthy internet "jokes" being made by people who think certain words are inherently funny. You know, words like the following: Taco Squirrel Monkey Penguin Spork Doom Banana Chimichanga I blame Invader Zim for starting this shit.

I'm pretty caught up in the Undertale soundtrack ever since I beat it. I can't even really post the best songs from it because they're practically spoilers in themselves but take my word for it when I say the game's music is top-notch.

Splatoon wouldn't be nearly as interesting, as it makes heavy use of the gamepad.

Where did you even find it? I haven't seen that one anywhere.

I beat Undertale with the pacifist ending. For an RPG it's fairly short, but I cannot recommend it highly enough. I can't really explain why without spoiling the hell out of it, so all I can really say is that it's an absolute must-play for anyone who enjoys turn-based RPGs.

Mission 45 was indeed the worst. It took me two hours to beat that son of a bitch. Had I not previously developed the heavy body armor on a whim then I'd probably still be trying to beat it.

Rented Until Dawn from redbox and beat it. I don't think I did too bad for my first time. Six survivors and only two deaths. I might pick it up after a price drop and play it again, see if I can't get a perfect 8/8.

I get that, but I also suspect that serious artists and graphics designers are still going to prefer using a dedicated graphics tablet with a PC or maybe even just a Windows tablet just because the software is bound to be more versatile on a Windows platform.

Just watched Book of Life on HBO. I've always liked the whole Day of the Dead mythology and this film played with it in a really creative way. I figured that something produced by Guillermo Del Toro would probably be pretty imaginative.

I downloaded Pac Man 256 on my phone to kill time at the airport, thinking I'd just delete it later, but this is actually a pretty damn good Pac Man game. It's also nice that the microtransactions aren't shoved in your face. You could easily play this game without ever spending a cent, but I may end up buying the dot doubler for 5 dollars just to support it.

Actually I never found anything that I thought was better than the S6 when I was looking at new phones.

I don't know if any of you like slice of life series (god knows there's an overabundance of them) but I kept hearing about one in particular recently and decided to try it out. It's called "Himouto! Umaru-chan." The main character is Umaru Doma, a high school girl who is beautiful, popular, kindhearted, good at sports, at the top of her class, and generally considered perfect by everyone around her. However, when she goes home to her brother's apartment after school every day she becomes such a lazy, freeloading, otaku piece of shit that she literally transforms into a chibi version of herself. Unlike her refined, carefully cultivated "outside" persona, the "inside" Umaru is a spoiled, selfish brat who lazes around all day, contributes absolutely nothing to the housework, and throws tantrums to get her brother to buy stuff for her. A big part of the series so far is also Umaru trying to hide her true otaku self from her classmates, which gets complicated sometimes because her transformation is quite literal and causes her to get mistaken for a child. It's pretty amusing, but I'd be lying if I said that part of me doesn't also want to slap the shit out of her. Still, it's one of the more creative approaches to the high school genre that I've seen so what the hell, I'll see where it goes. I also appreciate that fanservice is kept to a minimum. Six episodes in so far and not a single panty shot to be seen.
