My mother bought herself an iPad Air 2 recently so I've been thinking about getting her a nice case/keyboard for Christmas. Does anyone know if there's a difference between the Air and the Air 2 when it comes to accessories? I don't want to drop a Benjamin on something only to find out she can't use it.

I bought mine in a store. I'm pretty sure I got mine on launch day but for some reason the playstation account page shows your registered devices but not when they were registered.

They also implied you could use the 3g version to do multiplayer without Wi-Fi, which you can't.

If you bought a vita at launch, or at anytime before June 2012, you should keep an eye out for an email from Sony. They recently settled a false advertisement suit with the FTC, and vita early adopters will receive a choice between a check for 25 dollars of 50 dollars in PSN credit.

I just finished reading Infinity Gauntlet. Man, that is one crazy-ass series. The upcoming film can't possibly hope to adapt the story as is, but it's just as well since I want to see a different take on the idea anyway. If the movie Thanos is even half as omnipotent as his comic counterpart, though, then the Avengers had better start making some extremely powerful allies (Doctor Strange) between now and 2019.

Think of them like little AI training buddies that can fight either with you or against you. They learn to adapt and when you send them out to fight they also bring back prizes for you.

Everything about the remote play for DA is fantastic except the retarded control scheme. What the hell was Bioware thinking? In what universe am I going to use the R1 ability button more than the attack button? They really need to fix that.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change which shoulder buttons the PS vita L and R correspond to in remote play? I want to play Dragon Age but for some idiotic reason the shoulder buttons are bound to L1 and R1 instead of L2 and R2 like in every other remote play game I've ever played.

So I finally clear out all the quests I can do in the Hinterlands, thinking that now I can focus more on the story, and then I go and unlock FOUR MORE MAPS. You're killing me, Dragon Age!

I'm sure there are, because I've only done the trip to Val Royeaux as far as story goes. If there wasn't a lot more I'd be extremely disappointed.

Does anyone know where to find more Bianca Arms schematics for Varric? His DPS is seriously lagging and I can't upgrade his crossbow any further because I only have Bianca Arms I.

Playing Dragon Age has given me a renewed appreciation for console RPGs that utilize the whole "skills on the face buttons + a trigger for a second menu" control scheme. FFXIV did this too and it's really convenient. I know that PC players already have the number keys to do the same thing, but I could honestly never get used to using the number bar when playing RPGs on the PC. I always have to look down to make sure I'm pushing the right number on a keyboard, which slows me down during heated battles, but since there's only four face buttons on the pad and they're all pretty easy to find all I have to remember is to either hold down the trigger or not hold down the trigger. We've officially solved the problems that were preventing point-and-click RPGs from being on consoles for so long, so I'm hoping to see a lot more of them coming over in the future. Hell, there's even a couple free-to-play games I'd like to see ports of.

Shit, I had a scare for about five minutes today when the game crashed while it was loading and my save got corrupted. Thankfully, it only corrupted one out of the three autosaves it had done, so after I went into my storage menu and deleted the offending file it defaulted to the one before it and all was well. Good thing, too, because I had been playing for about five hours at that point and if I lost all of that I think I would have rage quit the game for a day or two.

Pretty much what Ethan said. I thought Destiny would be a game I'd want to keep forever and boy was I wrong. I'm sure Dragon Age will be better but still, I learned my lesson.
