God DAMN IT, Honda. How am I supposed to change my center brake light when the god damn torsion bars are blocking the bulb access?! I'm trying out Guilty Gear Xrd. Definitely feels different from the last few games. Not as many characters which is a bit of a letdown, although I did download the currently-free new DLC character Elphelt and god damn she is just cute as hell I can't take it. I wish she had actual story cutscenes, damn it.

Got the platinum for Far Cry. Some random I was playing with in co-op turned out to be a little kid who was nice enough to help me out. Go figure.

I'm inclined to agree with this. A ton of the xbone purchases during the season were by parents or grandparents who wanted to get the kids a nice gift and went with the less expensive option. Everyone I talked to who bought it for themselves did it specifically because of the bundle deal, and this was a lot of people. I realize this is just anecdotal but I imagine this was the case in more than just my area.

I just beat Far Cry 4. It's a pretty solid addition to the franchise and it is improved over the already very good Far Cry 3. However, the improvements are minor, so I feel like the series is in danger of becoming stagnant if it rushes out another sequel too soon. They should take a few years off to think of a way to really make it feel new again. I also have some major gripes about the story. Despite all those complaints, I still enjoyed the game quite a bit. I'm just a little tired of the Far Cry writers trying to be deep, because they suck at it.

A big part of me wants to say Binding of Isaac: Rebirth simply for all the crazy moments it's given me and the sheer amount of replayability it's offered. I know some would say that a remake shouldn't be a contender, but honestly this new version is so improved that comparing it to the original is like apples and oranges. They didn't just add content or smooth it over, they completely rebuilt the game from the ground up.

So I got on my PS4 today and it was making me do all the first-time setup stuff again that I had already done the day before after changing hard drives. I thought to myself "Oh god, all my data is gone" but everything I downloaded last night was still there, even the stuff it was set to download while it was in rest mode. What's up with that?
