I beat Destiny...I think? There's no more planets to go to and the game played a cutscene so I guess I finished the "story" of the game. I have mixed feelings about it. The gameplay is fun enough with friends, and I guess that's what really matters when you get right down to it, but this game might have the worst story and campaign I have ever played. I mean, even the Battlefield games have better campaigns than Destiny. At least there you have some idea of what's even going on. Not in Destiny. From beginning to end I was completely clueless about what was happening around me, and when it was over I actually had to go online to verify the ending because I couldn't believe they'd really finish it like that. I really expected better from Bungie on this. The ending was Halo 2 bad. Maybe even worse.

Looks like Apple has officially killed the iPod classic, so if you ever wanted the old model for its huge storage capacity or to plug into your car or whatever, now's the time to get it.

I'm a little unclear about one aspect of the crucible. I know that in most matches everyone is either buffed or nerfed so that their levels are equal, but does that apply to equipment too? Does each type of gun have a standardized stat that is the same for everyone?

No, the cut scenes are not skippable, which means there's even less excuse for the vague story.

I want the season pass, but not until the Animal Crossing characters are actually out because they're the ones I really want.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I see it, although my personal favorite kinds of trophies are the ones that are more like Easter eggs. One of my favorite examples is from the Ghostbusters game. There was a trophy in that one called "Kosher." How do you get it? Blast the ham off the catering table at the barmitzvah. I dunno why but I just love that.

Fucking hell, I've been trying to preorder this game all damn day on the PS store and I keep getting an error every time I try.

Sucker Punch games are always fairly easy to platinum if you put in enough time. Some people would say that the trophies have no point unless they're hard but frankly I think the point of trophies is to be fun, and agonizing over a trophy with ludicrous requirements isn't my idea of fun.

I knew that movie was going to be a piece of crap the very first time I saw the trailer. "Human beings only use 10% of their brain" my ass. A five minute Google search is all you need to disprove that "fact," but either nobody bothered to look it up or Hollywood just has absolutely no respect for the movie going public. Considering how well Transformers 4 did, though, maybe they're right not to.

I have to wonder if they're gonna change the gameplay mechanics for this one. No way you can individually command hundreds of characters, but commanding an army? I can get behind that.

Honestly I bumped it up to expert and had minimal trouble except for a few bosses and the occasional Nemesis. It probably doesn't get really challenging until you go to master or torment. You get better bonuses for the higher difficulties anyway so you might as well.

I bought psn credit a couple months back specifically so I wouldn't have to pay for Destiny all at once.

Ah crap. I hated that stupid power slider on the original 3DS. I was always hitting it by accident and turning the system off.

So some college kids invented a nail polish that changes color when it comes into contact with any liquid that has been spiked with a date-rape drug, and somehow they're actually getting shit from people who claim that the anti-date-rape nail polish is sexist because it puts all the responsibility for preventing rape on women. Okay, let me make sure I've got this straight. Because men shouldn't rape women (which they shouldn't), women shouldn't use a product that is trying to help protect them from potential rapists? There is just no pleasing these people, is there? I'm actually starting to wonder how many of these supposed feminists actually care about the issues they write about and how many of them are just complaining for attention and page hits.
