Anyone else finish episode 4 yet? This one probably had the toughest choices of any episode so far this season, and there were some cases where I was even tempted to reload the save and do it again because I was worried I may have made a really bad mistake. I didn't, though. I just hope it all doesn't come back to bite me in the ass in episode 5, which it almost certainly will.

Is anyone here going digital for Destiny? I normally don't do this for new games but I'm kinda tempted by that Guardian edition. You get all the limited edition stuff except for the physical trinkets and it's 10 bucks cheaper.

The Rise trophy is almost impossible. It's the one thing that makes me not want to bother with the platinum.

Well I played Destiny for the first time tonight. I'll be honest, I didn't buy into the hype for a long time. I was sure the game would be decent and I even figured I'd play it some point, but I wasn't chomping at the bit for it like everyone else seemed to be. Now I am, though. I can't wait for the full version to come out.

The writer's strike did hurt Heroes, but I feel like even an amateur should have been able to come up with something better than what they did. How many fucking times can Sylar switch sides? For that matter, as cool as he was in the first season I got really sick of him always hijacking the plot after a while. He was worse than Ganon in that regard. He should have been killed off a long time ago but the "writers" didn't have the balls to do it.

I've been thinking about the whole Ackerman thing and part of me feels like it's similar to Game of Thrones where the bastards get Snow as their last name, only in this case it's orphans getting the name Ackerman. I could be way off base, of course, but it would make sense considering that Mikasa and Levi have the same last name but nobody seems to give a shit.

I don't mind a female Thor except for the fact that they seem to be doing it in kind of a confusing way. I thought Thor was the guy's name. Is this an alternate universe or something? Is Thor actually just a title like the Dread Pirate Roberts? If she's replacing the old Thor, what are we supposed to call him now? I understand that they didn't want to call her "Lady Thor" or "Thorina" or anything like that, but having the exact same name is still going to make people call her "Lady Thor" in conversation just to differentiate her from the original Thor.

I suppose that technically it is possible (however improbable) that it could somehow be good, but come on. We all know how it usually turns out when a director takes an established franchise and decides he wants to "reinvent" it because he has a "different vision" in mind. Even the Nolan Batman movies followed the comics to an extent. Throwing the source material out the window is how we get things like alien ninja turtles and Uwe Boll's entire oeuvre.
