I think what Strangelove is saying is that the presence of a minimap makes developers feel like they're justified in making big, empty maps with no personality because as long as players don't get lost then a huge map will artifically inflate the perceived size of the game.

Maybe it just never happens on other difficulties because you'd have to suck pretty hard to run completely out of supplies in the easier modes.

Fighting runners isn't that hard in my opinion. The hard part is avoiding a clicker sneaking up behind you while you deal with the horde.

Man, I normally don't think much of it when I'm playing a game at 30 FPS but when you switch back and forth between 30 and 60 in the same game while you play it the difference is like night and day.

Ever since my Galaxy's firmware update, I've noticed an annoying change with the steam app. Every time I use it now, it opens up a new process, even if it already had one going before. Even if I'm messaging someone, hit the home button to do something else for a bit, and then go back to the same conversation it'll open up an identical process. After a while I end up with over a dozen steam processes, even if I'm just talking to one person. It never used to do this before the firmware update. Does anyone else use mobile steam on android? If so, I'm wondering if this has happened to others too.

Origins wasn't a bad game really but it had a very tough act to follow.

I thought Deathstroke was a huge disappointment. For starters, he shouldn't have been the first boss, and aside from that the combat system in the Arkham games is not nearly deep enough to make a simple one-on-one fistfight interesting. It's much more suited for large groups of enemies.
