Tried re-watching Death Note (I watched it years ago) but had to give up part way through It started off with an interesting premise but then it kept going and going and going. Do all animes go on way too long? Seems to be a recurring theme with all that I'm familiar with. Also, I forgot that Death Note is very sexist. Seriously, watch it again but pay attention to all the female characters. They're all awful. Light's girlfriend is just embarrassing but even his mom and sister aren't great. Even the FBI agent lady (Ray Pender's wife) was just crappy. She was going to quit being a bad ass FBI agent so she could be a wife and mother?

Ok! Let's break this down on why it's horrible. 1) Why does Batman have sunglasses flipped up on top of his head? 2) Why does Wonder Woman look so bored? Like, they can't get a picture of her where she looks interested? Or have any sort of facial expression? 3) Cyborg looks awful. He sort of resembles a Michael Bay Transformer. 4) The Flash's suit. Oh god. Why does the CW have a perfect Flash suit yet the film suit looks terrible? What's with the netting? 5) Can't tell if Aquaman looks cool or because he's standing next to The Flash and Cyborg, he just looks good in comparison.

You guys better, because I'll be spamming this place with screenshots.

You have to assume the English, French, and Spanish(?) languages will be ready to go in March since they're all used in North America. So once again, Germany is fucking shit up for the rest of Europe.

Sucks for Europeans but.... fuck 'em! Glad to have Zelda at a launch. I'm flying to Chicago in the Spring, you better believe I'll be playing Zelda the whole way there. EDIT: for 2-3 hours of the way there.

The Clone Wars is literally the only other good Star Wars from the Lucas era besides A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and the non-Endor parts of Return of the Jedi.

Remember everyone, Rebels also had a great mid-season trailer last year, but it was all shit from one or two episodes. Remember the shot of Ezra with the green Kylo-style lightsabre? And that's all it was in the show, Ezra picking it up and putting it down.

The Magnificent Seven (2016) It might have been the most forgettable film I've ever seen. Just meh all around. Pratt and Denzel are great as cowboys, but all the characters are under-utilized and despite being an average movie length, the whole thing just feels rushed.

Game of the Year: Uncharted 4 - The epilogue made me cry. Disappointment of all time: Final Fantasy XV - I wasn't excited for it but the hype at launch got me. I just don't know what the fuck is going on and I don't care about any of this. I'm not watching a fucking movie and an anime to understand your game. Sort your shit out, Square. Surprise of the year: Pokemon Sun - I've put like 200 hours into this game. I'm surprised because I really didn't like it at first. Favourite moment in a game: Uncharted 4 epilogue. TEARS! Most Anticipated: THE FUCKING SWITCH

Honestly, if you're itching for some Doctor Who I can't recommend Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency enough. Dirk basically is The Doctor, if everyone hated The Doctor (including his companion). The actor who plays him, Samuel Barnett should be considered for the roll of the 13th, especially if the rumours of the BBC wanting to return to the Smith/Tennant style Doctors are true. It's so glaring that I looked into the books the series is based off and they started as Doctor Who scripts in the 80s, so that explains that. Frodo is in it, he's pretty great and it's filmed in my hometown of Vancouver! Plus there's a corgi.

Nothing like waiting a full year for an underwhelming Doctor Who episode.

Undead and Undressed? What?

Maybe 40%?? A lot of them are evolutions of Pokemon you're never going to use, then a bunch are Pokemon that don't show up in the wild often, multiple Pokes that only evolve from stones which there are only one of in each game, and of course version exclusive Pokes. It helps to have another copy of the game with another 3DS handy. There's at least 10, maybe more, that you can only get through trading (usually with a rare item). So I'd boot up my wife's system, transfer it over, watch it evolve, then transfer back. I spent way too much time on this but with it being winter outside and dark at like 3:30pm, the wife and I have been watching a lot of TV shows, so it's been nice to have a handheld game I can grind as we watch TV. The big key for this was GTS trading. Using QR codes once a day you can catch only one of four specific Pokes that aren't in the game in a traditional sense (they're not even in the dex), and every day it changes. This includes the final evolutions of the Black/White starters. So I caught the water starter, bred it to get the first form (over and over again), and GTS traded them probably 25 times if not more. This cut down a bunch of time. I did try going to a full Pokedex in Omega Ruby, I caught every Poke I could in the over world and afterwards transferred in all my Heart Gold, Black, Black 2, and Y Pokes. I ended with 200ish to go. But there's no National Dex in Sun/Moon so that cut out 500+ Pokes, making it way easier to get the Shiny Charm.

I fucking did it. Going for shiny pokes now.

TFA is more light hearted and fun. Plus there was more excitement leading up to it, characters we haven't seen in 35 years, the first good SW film in decades. But I think Rogue One is an objectively a better film.

I don't know, Mal. I'm not saying it's the best Star Wars film. But I think you can make that argument. I'm incredibly impressed. There's no new characters as great as say, a Han Solo or maybe even Finn or Poe. But they're all good. K2SO might be the best. Baze Malbus and Chirrutt Imwe were also great (despite having to look up their names). And HOLY SHIT, Vader at the end.

I got a $20 PSN card in my office's Secret Santa, so I picked up Stardew Valley!
