Forgive me if I seem to imply anything. My question was a serious one, as I know nothing about the BBC, other than there are some things on BBC America that are okay shows and some basic things I have heard. My understanding is that the government gets to say how much money is given to the BBC, through specific taxes, yes. To me, if you agitate someone in government, they have the power to reduce the taxes given. I'm not sure if that is the case, as my knowledge is fairly limited on BBC. (And I don't want to google BBC at work for a 12 inch reason.) I thought I had heard that the BBC is basically ad free? Again, no base knowledge other that what limited things I have heard.

Primarily due to work, I've been to many Chamber of Commerce events, fundraisers, and other social events in town. So, to hear that these guys were in this town is amazing! I'm going to a charity event on Thursday night, so I plan on peering at the sign in sheets when I get there for any signs of the people. I'd like to see if there is a way to see their operation in action. That would be sweet!

The Humble Store is having it's winter sale. I haven't had a bunch of time to look at the goods, but it might be worth a look.

Season 3 is a reasonable place to start. The storyline picks up significantly in that season, adding depth to the characters, like Ice King and Marceline. I think of the Lich as a plot mover, but not necessarily the point of the show. I'm still disappointed in Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why Did You Steal Our Garbage?!. I tried to play some more of it, but I couldn't stand the boredom.

I went to my local GS for the first time in a while, and the store manager was there. He was not only helpful, but he had some good conversations with all of the customers in the store about some of the games. The person working the register was dressed appropriately (didn't look like she just rolled out of bed and didn't bother brushing her hair/teeth). And the customers in the store seemed to enjoy their time there. Plus, I got a good discount on some console games I've been meaning to play while getting Epic Mickey: Power of Two for the Wii for my son on the cheap. The rarity of this GS moment is astounding.

If you like Twin Peaks, check out Northern Exposure. Both shows were out at about the same time and had a similar sensibility about them. I've never seen the Twin Peaks movie, but it is a David Lynch movie.

The CEO did announce back in August that SW would be getting a significant presence at Disneyland. And, since Toon Town has already been removed at DisneyWorld, the writing was on the wall for Toon Town in Disneyland anyway. The announcement is still some time away, as it's expected to be revealed at Celebration in the spring. Also on the rumor front, a SW fan's movie poster he made could be used as the official movie poster. Apparently, the work was impressive enough to warrant a look by Lucasfilm.
