  1. If you read the suggestions in the Beta website, you would see that the majority of the suggestions with the most votes is stuff we're all thinking about [aka ads, netflix, tile rearrangement, etc...] and some of it would literally require a quick change in the code. But Microsoft is basically telling us that the beta is not meant for user input, just to find bugs. I really do hope there's a gigantic fucking backlash over how stupid the new netflix app is. I don't give two walrus tits about the look itself, just bring back the functionality of the previous app and keep the subtitles. Problem fucking solved.
  2. My problem is that Microsoft is taking no user input whatsoever. They're being these stubborn little children over a lot of the suggestions. Also the whole deal with Netflix being fucking shitty now.
  3. Ugh I don't feel like studying anymore. But I have to. Fuck finals

I truly, truly despise finals. I've never understood why cramming a 2+ hour exam of EVERY class you are taking in a period of less than a week covering EVERY SINGLE THING you have learned in that class is actually supposed to help in your education. To me it looks like an exercise in masochism than anything else. There are so many other ways to ensure that a student ends the semester with as much knowledge as possible that don't involve developing peptic ulcers.

  4. Obsidian talking about bugs? ololololololololol
  5. I walk around Skyrim naked. Everybody tells me I am supremely confident. I cry myself to sleep. Forever Video Game Alone

The TES series has always let you known something along the lines of "not impressed" when walking around naked.

    4. WTF

      WTF

Well it'll all change when take an arrow to your knee and then it'll be like - 'I used to walk naked till I took an arrow to my knee'

  6. Nobody is wrong. It was just a series of misunderstandings. I wasn't even 100% serious until these last two posts.
  7. Why were you quoting the bitching statement and said I'm only taking what I want from your argument when I even reference that specific quote at the end? I understood you didn't care about bitching, hence why the ending was basically "you do what you wanna do, I'll do what I want to do"
  8. Concerning the difficulty of the game this isn't a matter of a certain group of friends agreeing as it is observing evidence mate. Why my friend in adept can fight the same dragon, with my same armor, same weapon with the same one-handed sword skill, and kill it within 2-3 powerful strikes while only getting damaged a fraction of what I'm getting is extremely suspicious. Maybe he has a heavy armor skill I don't, but unless there's one I missed I don't see that particular evidence. right here It seems I'm either reading too much into it or cannot comprehend what you are implying, but from just reading it seems that you are implying I am again complaining about every difficult creature in this game. Pray-tell how come is it I've had no problem with any other "master" anything besides necromancers? Everything that has been intended as an enemy above all enemies I've been able to find a strategy to beat. Master Necromancers require me to let go of any tactic and simply rush to them, avoiding their flurry of spells like motherfucking Neo since getting hit by one slows you down, and pray to god I can stagger him. Nobody is arguing they're broken, but unless they're meant to be the freaking deathclaws of this game I don't see why they have to be so fucking high level compared to every other dungeon-enemy. When it's a mission's character, with an actual name instead of a generic title I understand the reasoning. I haven't beaten the Azura's Star quest because this is one of those instances where I need to level up. It SOUNDS to you like I am complaining there is an enemy I cannot steamroll because you didn't understand my predicament. I could fix what I'm complaining about by switching the difficulty, but again you're trying to justify that we shouldn't bitch at all. I clearly said I needed a place to vent at the beginning, others joined in and agreed on the topic. And I can see you disagree and have already explained you don't agree with bitching, well good for you. I'm not giving the game the satisfaction of me lowering the difficulty when I haven't had to so far, every other generic enemy I've come across I've been able to handle after a couple of tries. You play it that way you want, let me vent out my anger and continue playing it the way I want.
  9. THANK YOU Other mages haven't been much of a problem since I can usually rush to them. Hell even small time necromancers I can kill. But big-time mages, aka the masters and things of the sort, seem to have a thing where they can shoot 20,000 ice storms per second. I understand they have a lot of magicka but there was literally no break to charge between the ice spells. Not to mention that I even tried to use chain lightning to get rid of their magicka, but their magickal ward shield [which they don't need a hand to use] is fucking bullshit.
  10. I wasn't bitching about dragons. I was complaining about necromancers specifically. The "lower the difficulty if you don't like it" argument is really similar to the "if you don't like the idea that the game has multiplayer, don't play it then" I have enjoyed every other battle I've had in the game, I think an individual should be able to complain about a specific enemy type. If we live in a society where our necromancer problems can be solved by lowering the difficulty, we might as well lower the difficulty in real life. By killing all of ourselves. Game over. and no. The main things difficulty does from what I see online and have agreed with others is: increase enemy life (more like= more chances to level up skills since enemies take longer), and increase their strength as well. If it was just the life, then a dragon's breath wouldn't take away 1/2 of my life with a direct hit and me using my legendary daedric armor.
  11. I love to sing-a about the moon-a and the june-a and the spring-a

      Battra92

      about a sky of blue-a?

  12. Unless that's one of the Daedra missions, no. But I think I know which one you're talking about. So far two of the daedra missions I've done I have ended up fighting some strong ass master necromancers and his adept level destruction apprentices. And for whoever said he's had no problem, I'm an Imperial [aka no frost resistance] playing in expert mode. So while my friends can literally have a dragon in front of them and slash at them no matter the damage, I have to use tactics. Like hiding behind a tree from his breath, taking my sweet time killing it. I like the game this way, doesn't make me seem like a tank of a hero.
  13. @Johnny: It's not manning up when I'm supposed to have 2 teammates to have my back and the freaking master necromancer only focuses his attention on me. And the freaking ice storm slows you down so running away isn't an option. And they have a magical one handed ice storm super power where they can have a ward AND do ice storm. Seriously I don't tend to bitch, but fuck necromancers. They are my sworn enemies.
  14. I need a place to vent. I'm playing in expert. FUCK. MASTER NECROMANCERS THOSE GOD DAMN CHEAP MOTHERFUCKING BASTARDS. ONE FUCKING ICE STORM. ONE FUCKING ICE STORM KILLS. WHAT THE FUCK. I HAD TO RELOAD A GOD DAMN SAVEPOINT LIKE 20 TIMES BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO BEAT THIS FUCK. FUCK THIS GAME'S NECROMANCERS.
  15. I have yet to see a dragon sweep somebody.
  16. Why does it seem like the glitches in Skyrim actually got worst with the console patch?

I'm in the 360. I keep hearing about PS3 being worst, but I hadn't heard about how the 360 was affected.

  17. I'm Pierre! The only french bum in New York! I have to wine with my government cheese!

  18. So I tried killing a backwards flying dragon. It would randomly get stuck in a tree and have spasms like a possessed little girl, so i shot some magic at it to kill it. Oh my god. Worst mistake ever. Not only is it a magical immortal dragon, my game lacked like a motherfucker. Also my current character can't join the dark brotherhood since the quest won't fucking appear no matter what I do, and I already killed the person you're supposed to kill. fucking fantastic. glitchy games are fun, when the glitches don't take away from the experience.
  19. So I beat the game. The Hylian shield wasn't necessary as the goddess shield was more than enough. First Zelda game I beat it without it, but hey that's awesome. To be fair in OoT I used the mirror shield at the end. It looked so cool.
  20. She packed my bags last night. Pre-flight. Zero hours Nine am. *smokes cigarette* and I'm gonna be... HIIIIIIIIIIGH as a kite by then.

  21. People keep telling me how being an Adept is super hard. But imho as long as I can have engineers and warriors with me, who cares. I balance it out with my wicked force push.
  22. I honestly can't remember the last game I actually went out of my way to replay when it had no new game + or unlockable. I am too story-driven in my games and unless the story had a huge well-written romance among the many things it brought to the table, I am not interested. example: I tried replaying Brutal Legend. I am one of the few people who didn't entirely dislike the combat in that game. But I couldn't get past a certain section before lack of interest kicked in. Been there, done that syndrome.
  23. Games these days tend to be, while not always, graded in a comparative scale. The way I justify it is. "Here's the Elder Scrolls. Man all these bugs are really fucking up the game don't know if I should give it a perfect score." "but you gave blabbity-bla a 95 and it doesn't even compare to how awesome this Bethesda title is." and thus, they give it a 10/10. Not every reviewer does this, and I appreciate that. But would I have given this title a 10/10? No, but I don't tend to give many games a score above an 80. I would have given it a 90 or 95. The bugs for me are not game breaking like in previous titles and that takes away a lot of anger I had for Bethesda.
