  1. I'm having such a hard time deciding between an Imperial and a Breton for my first character! ARRRRRRGH I enjoy how Bretons are probably better in magic and have resistance to magic attacks.... But I am making a spell sword and an imperial has decent magic and is handy with heavy armor! ARRRRRRRRRGH
  2. I guess. I like the way they are trying to do it, but at the same time I feel that it doesn't work for this series.
  3. If it's a single player game [not fucking multiplayer] with the Bioware flare in a modern setting I don't care. They've proven to me that their characters alone can keep me interested in the game.
  4. Warning: Supposed Major Mass Effect 3 Plot Points have been leaked on the internet. Beware of ME3 articles as I expect trolls will be spoiling them.

Where can I read these plot points, since I don't plan on getting the game?

I would suggest searching the web.

  5. It's astounding. Time is fleeting. Madness takes its toll. But listen closely. Not for very much longer. I've got to. Keep control.

  6. So apparently the main annoyance people have found with Skyrim on consoles is the autosave. The good news is you can manage it.

In oblivion on consoles it would save after you waited, or entered/left an area via a load screen, does Skyrim not do this anymore?

OMG! MORE OPTIONS FOR AUTOSAVE?! They have watered it down. The old autosave system had way more hardcores.

Yeah it does madbass. In my attempt to list the options I missed the fact that also lets you set it whether or not to save when you wait or fast travel.

  7. somebody who played the demo said this of the modes: Story Mode- Combat is made INCREDIBLY easy so you don't stress over it, get done with it easily, then move on. This is made for those who only care about the story. Action Mode- Made for those who just want to play and not worry about the multiple dialogue decisions that can affect the different ways the story ends. Apparently the game makes the dialogue choices for you, making them like actual cutscenes I guess. RPG Mode- the way we've been playing Mass Effect this entire time. In other words if the above is true, Mass Effect 3 has become even more watered down than the other two. They really want the casual folk to play the game. I haven't seen any other developer try so hard to make their game like this and I really don't get why Bioware is doing so, but according to the user who said the above stuff the game in RPG mode still has a lot of depth so hopefully they didn't mess with that. I'm also really hoping that these don't replace the difficulties and that we can still beat the game in the 4 or so difficulties we usually have.
  8. Back in my days, hookers took these broken wings!
  9. Tommy would be 61 or 62 if assumptions are correct and this game takes place in 2012.
  10. Ubisoft isn't known for smart decisions. See the rabbit things, and their piracy policy.
  11. I think that you thinking that we're thinking these different pathways is making ME excited.
  12. Has Ubisoft confirmed if a certain character is actually dead?
  13. It's been confirmed by Ray's agent that it's not him in the trailer. This doesn't necessarily mean it's not Tommy though. They may have wanted to go with another voice actor to represent tommy in his older years. Rockstar will have to address this pretty soon though. If it really isn't Tommy in the trailer, they'll probably outright tell us within the next week or two. What's the point of raising hopes? They don't have to tell us who the character is, but they CAN tell us it's not Tommy as they are not revealing anything else with that statement. I would splooge if it's Tommy but chances are slim.
  14. I used to think that, but unless the man has gone crazy I don't see how attacking earth and killing thousands of humans is a way to protect it. If the reapers were attacking everything BUT humans I could see it.... but until then I'm hoping the IM was simply indoctrinated.
  15. The only logical excuse, besides the man turning into a special-ed student and forgetting Shepard is the last hope for humanity and/or the other races, is that he was replaced by his evil clone The Mussive Illan
  16. With all the recent images of messed up video games from mailing companies, I fear for my copy of Skyrim being shipped from Amazon

  17. Is this for the Dragon Age series in general or just for DA1?
  18. I would say actual details of quests are spoilers. But map locations [including quest, armor, dragon shout and weapon locations] and anything else that can help you get an advantage for your character is cool, It's the same as sharing information. "If you go to this spot there's a dungeon that has a really sick sword" should be ok. But "You're actually a dragon, what a twist ending!" is not cool.
  19. Seeing how I rented this game, I am stressed out about it but not too much as I am not an achievement whore. I do like to complete as much as possible, but beating the game in hard was my milestone and now I'm waiting for skyrim.
  20. Except that you don't have the time to advance your technology enough to beat them. Reverse Engineering could at least tell us more about them. Recent example would be that Battle LA film.
  21. Don't. It makes your Shepard more human. Just like in Mass Effect 1 you had no way of knowing that sending the troops to help the Council wouldn't harm you in anyway, you had no way of knowing that they giving them the base would be harmful. Think about it. 1. You need all your troops against a godly enemy, politics takes a backseat to life. 2. You need to be prepared as much as possible on whatever you can learn about the reapers, learning of their technology is a good way. I can almost swear to you that if you saved the Collector's base, like myself, you will most likely have a way to gather the intel Cerberus has gotten from it and it will be REALLY useful. There's no way in hell there won't be a resolution to the Cerberus betrayal.
  22. The only time I was surprised at the complete bull of the persuade/intimidate in this series was in In ME and ME2 the first thing I upgraded fully is the conversation system [can't remember if that was an option in ME2 for the skill tree] and considering how I had done nothing but good deeds throughout the entire game it was surprising that I actually had to choose and lower any chance of being good friends with the other.
