Frankly, as much as I'd like you to post it on the one where they'd appreciate it more... you're a worker, not a charity. Do what gets you paid, son. Go for the beeg bucks. I would like to have someone ask Mr. Pachter about what kind of influence he thinks his opinions have on the industry. There is no such thing as an impartial observer- to observe a phenomenon is to change it, and I wonder how he thinks his observation changes things.

Every time I go to Off-Topic and see that "In Defense of Religion" thread, I read it as "In Defense of Railgun" and get deeply confused.

In defense of railguns, they kick ass. You can't argue against that.

In the defense of railguns, they are totally balanced because their slow firing rate leaves you vulnerable unless you use it to finish an enemy off, and also they are always strategically placed in the levels to make fighting for the railgun spots an important part of the game.

Maybe I'm more proud of myself than I should be... but I just took apart a DualShock 3, fixed it (the buttons were sticking), and put it back together, all without directions or prior knowledge of how the thing worked. I did shock myself a few times, though....

Battra: Controller was brand new, actually. Problem was that the buttons weren't perfectly round- apparently, they snap out of sheets like model pieces, because it had those same little plastic stubby bits, and I just had to sand those down.
Chaos: I think you'd be even more successful- on the 360 con, you can disconnect the batteries first XD

I'm not done yet, but from what I've experienced, and what I've heard is to come... It's a good game. I really feel that. It is not a great game, as most Bioware games are. It is enjoyable and worth my time, but I will not ever raise it up as an example of what a game should be. Its lasting legacy? Showing me once and for all the dangers of time constraints. EA forced Bioware to work really, really fast on this game, and it BLEEDS missed potential because of it. When time constraints can cause even a Bioware title to suffer so fiercely, then it's all too easy to understand why other devs suffer under them. I hope they actually get the time they need to make DA3 something special.

So, for those of you that are interested, Brain (that's Brainhurtboy) and I have been having matches online in the evening, and they've been completely fucking awesome. Are there enough interested people that we should Fighting Amongst Ourselves? ...Not like that.
