  1. I hate to be *that guy* but...I think I've got all I'll get out of this expansion. Two exotics quests done, 27% of my book done and I've gone up to 343 light. If I want to improve that significantly I'll likely have to engage in the parts of Destiny I simply dont want to, or am unable to (none-matchmaking stuff mainly). Back to Overwatch for me. 2. Campaign stuff only (stuff about SIVA). Could be wrong, but I got a trophy and a cool new sword and a shiny cinematic. I'll have another look tomorrow, I had to turn it off just after the closing cinematic; could be very wrong indeed. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. I think I finished the new 'campaign' stuff. The climax of which I found to be utterly awful. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Footage of Bungie HQ as of 5 minutes ago. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. And now I wait. **YAY...queueing** Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. I bought Rise of Iron because I hate myself. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. I fear you may be the first domino to fall. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. I'm fairly certain I read that you won't be interacting, or even in the vicinity of any wolves during the events of Rise of Iron. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. Finding Dory. PIXAR knocked out a perfectly adequate follow up to Finding Nemo here. It had some nice moments, but ultimately I couldn't shake the feeling that we didn't need this movie. Dory herself is a fun character, but I don't want her as the main protagonist and whilst it might keep the kids entertained I'm not sure it places high on my PIXAR ranking. Rocky Horror Picture Show Not a massive lover of musicals, but I enjoyed this much more on the second attempt. Song's are fun, and the film's got its own sense of style. It's still a musical.
  10. I started and finished Bound. I'll keep this short. From a pure design point of view, the game is second to none. It's a work of art, a painting almost. Unfortunately the actual gameplay itself is just...boring. You're basically walking from point a to point b, theres no real challenge along the way and whilst the visuals keep you interested, there's little to make you really think about what you're doing. I hate to be *that guy*, but the game is short. I completed it in less than 4 hours. The game costs £15 on PSN right now. That seem's to be the going rate nowadays but if I had to buy it again, I'd probably wait for a sale.
  11. Stolen from Reddit. This accurately portrays what happens in the immediate seconds after running through one of Symmetra's portals. https://fat.gfycat.com/ExaltedIgnorantIndianrhinoceros.webm
  12. It's been making the rounds on my podcasts so I figured I'd take a look. I've heard nothing but good reviews so far. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. This looks like it's going to be a film that the critics adore, but mainstream audiences just don't take too. That being said I'm probably going to see if I can get the GF to come with me for a viewing when it hits UK cinemas next week.
  14. Without wanting to sound cheeky, I was wondering if anyone had a Steam code for Company of Heroes 2 that they wouldn't mind swapping/giving me. ??
  15. I tend to find that if I don't play Lucio/Tank then no one else will, regardless of the situation. I enjoy winning, but I hate playing as Tank.
  16. https://www.buzzfeed.com/rachmucha/9-reasons-why-lost-is-the-best-tv-show-ever-19pie?utm_term=.tsZq9jPjx#.srKVRdGd3 I see no reason to disagree with this article.
  17. Take my money! (This will be the second copy of this film I own on Steelbook. Fuck You Hollywood)
  18. Is the Steam controller worth it? Thinking of grabbing the CIV V1 + Controller bundle.

I've just been using the DS4 and that's working fine. By sounds of it first run of Steam Controllers are a bit clunky.

I'll give it a miss then. Was eyeing it up for my 3 week surgery recovery, but CIV VI isn't out until after anyways.

I've been using the Steam controller for over 6 months now and I really love it but IIRC Valve have said they're planning to iterate and release a revision in the future. So, at this point you might as well wait for that.

  19. I wonder if he's falling into something of an artistic rut. Even Iron Man 3 had a very Kiss Kiss Bang Bang feel to it, granted both starred RDJ, but it certainly had similarities, which might be why IM3 left some people cold. It's less an Iron Man film and more a 'Tony Stark dealing with shit' film. It's not his best work, but I think it's solid enough to warrant a re-watch at some point.
  20. I didn't get far enough in to find out.
  21. I might be misreading your comment here but The Nice Guys is very much directed by Shane Black, the same guy who directed Kiss Kiss. As for the film itself, I enjoyed it. It's no Kiss Kiss but in a summer of bloated comic book movies, it hit the spot. Don't think it did too well though which is a real shame. I'd love to see more from these three.
  22. Listening to the slashfilm podcast about Suicide Squad last night, and whilst I don't think it lets the film off the hook (a bad film is a bad film), THIS probably didn't help matters. It sounds like Warner has a serious problem with trusting the people they hire to deliver on set. Get the fuck out of the way and let the film maker make their film.
  23. I grabbed Kholat a while ago as I really like the story that it's based on (Dyatlov Pass Incident) but after about an hour I turned it off. It looks like ass, it plays like ass and it didn't scare me once.
