Bridge of Spies I enjoyed this well enough, and it's well made but it kind of left me feeling cold.

Guess what? Try as I might, I cannot get my GF to come with me on my adventures. I know I'm occasionally getting my phone out, but I fail to see the downside here.

Has anyone ran Into any trouble whilst playing? Had a guy today who didn't seem too enthusiastic about his wife playing along. Walking around the corner trying to catch a Pidgey and he looks me square in the eye, grins and then says to his wife/gf 'You need to grow the fuck up' Me and the lady smiled, but couldn't help but wonder why so aggressive. Also.. ... Fuck sake.

I quite like the idea of the place getting some new features like blogs etc etc, but I understand there might not be an appetite for that.

Pulp Fiction Second time I'd seen this one, and whilst the first viewing left me cold, I can finally see why people universally adore it. I don't think its as good a film as Res Dogs is, but I'll certainly be watching this again.

Normally I'd agree with you, but I genuinely think Civil War is the least run of the mill movie Marvel has put out in years. It's not the savior of big-budget cinema, but I think on the whole it's a damn enjoyable film.

I actually didn't hate the dream sequence, it's just so poorly explained after, especially the stuff with Flash. I'm no DC nerd, but I know who's who and even I was confused by that cameo.

I wish there was a little more built onto the base model I guess. The ability to fight your friends or trade with them. Its already gotten me out of the house once, but if I've got a day trip planned I'd really rather not spend the entire time looking at my phone collecting digital Pokémon. I'll stay with it, cause it can still be fun but I'm thinking its a little too limited at the moment.

I preferred Digimon.

The worst type of Tracer to come up against is the one that pulls my attention away from the other opponents repeatedly. She might not kill me but she'll be a big enough thorn in my side that eventually I'll chase her down and she'll either lead me directly into a pincer move, or my loss of concentration will result in the other team gaining ground on the objective.

Okay. Pokemon Go is out and playable. If you're running Android its available in certain countries via Google Play, and the places its not? APK that shit. I caught a Bulbasaur on my pillow. It was rad.

Honestly it feels a little dirty to me. Not least because he was sitting down to do an interview for them. Maybe it's different if they've got someone going in undercover, filming with a tiny camera whilst they're out at dinner, but he was sitting in the studio, waiting to give your people an interview. It makes it feel even more shady.

I played and finished Refunct today. It's a short little puzzle game in which you jump on a serious of platforms in order to turn them green, collect the glowing thing and ultimately press the big red button. I loved it. I don't believe I've ever played a more satisfying game and more people should play it.

Going to have another read of one of my favourites; I Am Legend later on today. An absolutely classic of its genre and one of those books that never seems to get much kudos. Surely I'm not the only person here to have read it?

I think a bigger problem is how much time the writers devoted to her plot this season. She's come exactly nowhere from the girl we saw murder Trant at the end of the last season. Sure the street-play stuff was fun, but her character has been spinning her wheels for a while now, seemingly for no reason. The show is attached to her in the same way they are Dany and Jon and Jaime. Even when the plot isn't there we're forced to check in on them seemingly every episode. I understand this, her character is popular and I can only assume they believe that cutting her screen time back would have a negative impact on the show's viewer-ship. Not sure I agree with that sentiment but I understand it. So yeah, the real problem here is how much time they've given a character who's basically had nothing to do for the past year. Also Arya isn't the hero the viewer-ship believes her to be. I can't understand why I keep seeing 'Fucking Yes Arya' on social media. The girl is at the very best broken. She's gone from wanting revenge for her fallen family to actively enjoying the taking of ones life. That's the angle I hope the show goes down next season, less wishy washy hand waving and more character beats about what Arya has become, or is about to become.

Is it not possible that the writers have boxed themselves into a hole with the entire thing and decided instead of spending time trying to climb out of that hole they'd just ignore it and hope it goes away? Like Dorne.

Think I'm going to redo the entire series before the beginning of the final season, and I'm planning on making some fake email address up so I can dive back into the books....in audio form (fuck reading A Fast For Crows again) before the new book hits. I spent my entire shift at work listening to that incredible bit of music that played over the top of the the start of the last episode. It really is magnificent.

How are you finding the community? I've heard there's a notable difference in the community compared between the Competitive and ...less stressful modes.

Agreed, there's not much they can do with regards to travel in the world. They've already admitted that the show doesn't take place in chronological time, but as a book reader I can't help but wince a little.
