  1. A massive fan of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy I might check that out. I also believe the BBC did had a one episode run with the guy from The Green Wing, that seemed fun; didn't get picked up though. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. Rogue Galaxy is great too. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Feel free to not use images, I just thought it made everything a little prettier. Game of the Year: Overwatch How could it be anything else? I finally got my level 100 star a few days ago, and despite me almost universally hating online games, I've put close to 80 years into Overwatch. Disappointment of the Year: The Division The Division had so much unfulfilled potential, and whilst its new DLC might fix some of that, it's too little, too late for me. Surprise of the Year: Ratchet and Clank I'd never played a Ratchet game, and with it being 2016 I thought I never would. However Ratchet and Clank was a fine return to a genre I thought we'd seen the last of. Hopefully, this game can change that. Favourite Moment in a Game: ABZU I didn't love ABZU, but the final five to ten minutes entirely changed my opinion on the game. It's beautiful, emotional and just down right awesome. I got chills, I laughed and I may even have cried. Thanks ABZU. Most Anticipated in 2017: Mass Effect Andromeda I loved the first trilogy (yes, even the third game), and I can't wait to jump back in with Andromeda. Sure it looks a little samey, but more Mass Effect is fine to me.
  4. I just requested a refund on Steam. 70 minutes in and whilst the game isn't the horrible mess it was at launch, it stills runs poorly on my PC (it shouldn't be this bad) and I'll grab it on my PS4 when the price lowers. Game looked like ass, I had this annoying frame rate issue and everything looked blurry or completely out of focus for the majority of the time. Poor. Maybe it'll look better when I'm sat 10 feet away from my telebox, either way, for now I'm utterly disappointed.
  5. Couldn't decide on Motorsport Manager or Quantum Break so I decided to save what's left of my steam credit.
  6. So this is weird. I'd like to thank Hitler (Saturnine Tenshi) for the wonderful gift of Shadow Warrior 2. Eeew Seriously though, thanks very very much. I'm going to dive head first into this as soon as Christmas is out of the way.
  7. PC? Are Amazon offering Origin codes now?
  8. So did anyone pick up Steep? Asking for a friend.

Did it get good reviews? I love downhill-em-ups and not had one for ages.

I haven't really played one since Amped. I'd like another like that.

  9. Steam ID/Wishlist/Country (in case of regional restrictions): Wishlist General criteria: What are your favorite genres? For PC, First Person Shooters, light strategy games (nothing by Paradox thank you) and indie games that offer something a little off the beaten path. I love games that task me with making decisions. What are your favorite games? Destiny, Overwatch, Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, The Witcher 2, Tearaway, Mario Kart Double Dash. Will you take games not on your wishlist? Chances are, if it's not on my wishlist then I've already decided I'm not interested in it. Any other information you think relevant? Seeing as this is largely a PC thing, I'd prefer games that I won't be returning to over and over again. Preferable something short, less than 10 hours with a definite end point. Racing games, open world RPG's and games I tend to play daily (Overwatch, Destiny etc etc are played on my Sofa, with a controller). I'll play anything, aside from rouge likes, because fuck that. I'm not really into multiplayer focused games or Metroidvania games.
  10. MINE A real shame my 'challenge' level is in the gutter. I'm just not remotely interested in having to work hard for something in a video game, this is likely why I bounce off of Destiny when the going gets grindy.
  11. I'm one of the people who thinks it's silly to delay a game sighting day 1 patches as a reason when you know for a fact that they're gonna issue a patch inside the first few days anyway.

  13. Was it worth the wait to avoid that annoying Day 01 Patch.
  14. I don't usually 'do' music, but I absolutely adore this song.
  15. Didn't you hear? You're a fan of video games so therefore you have to suckle at the teat of publishers and developers in order to sustain their idiotic business model. In short, you're a horrible person for taking money out of the hands of poor, overworked Devs and should be treated accordingly. *my 'in short' sentence was longer than my opening one.
  16. Kubo might be one of my favourite films of the year. It's gorgeous, inventive and bloody good fun.
  17. I'd have been okay had that not happened tbh. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Fantastic Beasts It was alright. Far too reliant on CGI and the final 35 minutes is a bit of a mess, but it does what it was supposed to do and gives us a way back into that universe.
  19. Same. Picked up some RAM a few days ago for Planet Coaster and I could barely get the stick of ram into its slot because the damn fan sticks out so far. Quiet as a mouse though.
  20. I'm thinking of dropping £40 on Rock Band 4 for the PS4 but I've got a few questions. Firstly and perhaps most importantly, we've already got a Rock Band game on the PS3 ( I think its World Tour) and we've still got a copy of Guitar Hero (2015) laying around. Is it worth the money with all that taken into account? Secondly, do we need the new guitar to play it?
  21. If I had it my way I'd have gone for The Hobbit or one of the superhero ones. Girlfriend isn't much into those franchises however. And nah, got it on eBay didn't I. New copy, cheap but hardly worth the hassle of returning as its not technically his fault its a buggy pile of shite. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. The Lego Movie: The Game of the Movie - Technically we're playing this at the moment. I wanted something me and my GF could play together (that wasn't Minecraft), and after a few suggestions we decided to plump for this. Mistake. We've put an hour into it so far and it's crashed on us twice. Turns out Tt really aren't all that bothered about post-release support on their games, and so I think we're destined to have spent money on a game that's fundamentally broken. They won't be getting my money again. What makes it worse however, is that this is a product marketed at children. I expect better from WB, Tt and Lego. Weak. Planet Coaster - Like I said in the other thread, It's really really good. If you're into managing a theme park, or simple want to see what you can build/how many people you can kill with 1 wooden rollercoaster, you should give it a chance. F1 2016 - I had a real urge to play a racing game a few weeks ago, and F1 caught my eye. It's great (if you're into that sorta thing), I turn most of the assists off, notch the AI upto hard and start my career with the shittest team on the grid. A few moments of serious frustration with the AI that resulted in wasted hours aside, I'm really really impressed with Codemasters offering here. I think I'm going to go play some more.
  23. I know its not video game related, but I had to post this. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/471038177/the-motto-time-without-the-clock Watch the video. I think I vomited in my mouth a little.
