  1. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/01/new-release-date-for-uncharted-4-a-thiefs-end/ Hmm.
  2. My experience with XCOM2. EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE!! I think after 15 hours, that I'm getting to the point where I might need to restart. I've simply not covered enough ground in networking the planet.
  3. The Full Monty. First time I've seen this, which I believe is a crime punishable by death in some parts of the UK. Its not aged terribly well, and it's politics are very outdated (I've never heard 'puff' said so many times) but its funny, engaging and left me feeling pretty good about life.
  4. I didn't pay a thing for Rocket League and its given me a hundred hours of content. This is a no brainer for me.
  5. I saw Harold and Kumar once. That was fine. (I posted in the wrong thread again).
  6. Apparently we've got the decorators in today and tomorrow? I guess I should be happy that our landlord is gonna tidy the place up for us, but I'm still not sure what rooms they're doing, how much they're doing (total repaint or just touch ups) and how many dudes are coming. Honestly, I wish they weren't coming.
  7. There's some interesting plot beats in that first game. Especially one that revolves around a witch.
  8. Yeah I've been using it pretty regularly since I made this post. Not sure on my username, I'd assume it's Danielpholt. I'm hoping they expand on the amount of characters you can use to write up your experience. 140 simply isn't gonna cut it. Let me use your service as a place to write my views on games, and I'll be sold on it. Never heard of Exophase. Is that another logger?
  9. Deadpool Not breaking any news here, but the films fantastic. Not overly ambitious in scope (which is nice for a genre that too often falls back on the 'SAVE THE WORLD' trope), absolutely hilarious and perfectly aware of what it is, and who it's audience are.
  10. You'll never forget that opening scene though right?
  11. I think we need to remember that when we remove all else, it's a 3rd person cover shooter. I'm actually enjoying the shooting, but I get its not for everyone. My problem is that the world seems totally devoid of fun. It's all dark, it's all bland and it's all very serious. *Edit* Should be said that Destiny nails to core shooting mechanics, but stylistically I think most people are going to find FPS more immediately enjoyable than 3rd Person.
  12. Been playing for roughly an hour now and good god am I bored. I'll jump on again after work tomorrow, but initial first impressions are kind of meh. Everything looks..............nice from a technical perspective, the world is kind of bland though (although I guess that's the issue with this setting). Shooting feels fine, a touch bullet-spongey but whatever. Glad I didn't pre-order this. If anything it's making me want to jump back into that Bungie game once again.
  13. Couldn't play the Beta yesterday as it went live after I went to be in the afternoon (Nightshift worker), so I figured I'd jump on this morning after work. Nope. Server Maintenance at 9am until midday meaning that once again, I won't be able to play the damned thing. Plus side, I think Ubisoft just saved me £45. Yay?
  14. No one remembered me
  15. Best Superhero Movie. GO.

Can I vote for Daredevil Season 1 as one long 13 hour movie?? Cause that would get my vote.

  16. Lifebar.io I know a few of you are into game tracking/logging, and I think Lifebar might be right up your alley. It's a sort of Letterboxd meets Darkardia for gaming. You can log what games you've played, assign a score to the experience you had whilst playing the game and write a small blurb about the game itself. Log enough info and you'll eventually start to get detailed graphs about your time gaming. I don't do a fantastic job of explaining it, so here's the LINK. Ideally, I'd like to see them enhance their game reviewing angle. I've been looking for something that allows me to right reviews, rate and like games for a while now, and whilst I can do that here, I wish they'd take it further and really drive to become what Letterboxd is for games.
  17. I used to hate the idea of Valentines Day. Until I realised I could use it to get out of Overtime. Yay for Love!!

  18. Ignore Cowboy, he's dumb and also a bully. Probably tortures small animals for fun when no one's around, too! I should say the walkthrough only kicked in for the stuff inside the mountain, and I tried to do as many as those as possible before resorting to it. I'd decided I'd had enough by this point and so I simply wasn't going to spend an hour looking at the screen waiting for the penny to drop. With the choice of finishing the game with help, or turning it off and never playing it again, I went with the former. Cowboy went full 'I'm not angry....just disappointed' on me and I had no way to hide my shame. Forgive me, I'll do better next time [emoji22]
  19. I love those books. The first three are superb reads, 4 and 5 aren't too shabby either.
  20. The Witness I ended up basically using a walkthrough to get myself to the final cinematic. So yeah, that's a game I played.
  21. I feel my time with The Witness is coming to something of an abrupt end. I've done enough to get into the mountain, and I'll probably work my way through that content over the next few days. I started The Witness really enjoying my time with it, but as its puzzles became more and more complex I could feel myself slowly reaching for the internet and that's robbed the game of its most important aspect; achievement. It's still a fantastic game, but I've found myself spending more and more of my time with the game in a state of near constant frustration. Is that my fault or the games? I dunno.
  22. I've broken the seal....I'll probably jump back to the IGN guide whenever I get stuck again. I did the same for Talos Principle and I can't shake the feeling that it sort of cheapened that one too.
  23. I used a walkthrough to finish off a section and now I feel like I've cheapened the entire game
