  1. Okay folks i need some recommendations. I'm looking for a Graphic Novel to read after i finish I Kill Giants. Watchmen has been on my list for a while, but i'm probably going to buy that for my next holiday. I'm open to anything genre wise, just as long as its good. Hit me.
  2. Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably go back and re-read that chapter at some point. As regards to spoilers, shouldn't we really just have a separate book thread?
  3. How are you finding the aiming? With the sticks being so damn small i found myself constantly missing fairly routine shots. As an experience however i really enjoyed the game.
  4. £3.99 from PC World. Comes with a Steam Key too.
  5. I had a dream that i'd mastered a Bane impression and was traveling the country performing. Ok then.

DO YOU THINK THAT GIVES YOU SOME SORT OF POWER OVER ME?

  6. Looks like my Mobile will be getting PS certified too. Not that i'll play anything on it. I've got the Vita for that. Roll on the 28th.
  7. I finally got around to downloading the Lumines demo this morning. Shit gets real crazy real fast. I wanted to enjoy the music and the animations going on in the background, but i was quickly swamped with blocks and the like. I'm not sure my brain is quick enough for that game, it was like a super crazy version of Tetris. I'll probably give it another few goes before i delete it from the system, in the hope that my skill level increases but its not a promising start.
  8. My brother has had to send his Nexus 7 back. Apparently the screen was becoming very unresponsive. It looks like a nice device, but there seems to be an awful lot of people sending it back.
  9. I've seen both The Savages and A Town Called Panic over the last few days and enjoyed them both for entirely different reasons. Savages, isn't a light hearted film, but the cast delivered and I enjoyed the story. Despite being so bleak, it did have its fair share of funny moments. Philip Seymore Hoffman is becoming one of my favourite actors, he never lets me down. As for Panic, well where do I start? That film is just mental. It's an hour and a bit of complete nonsensical craziness. The main characters are a plastic model/toy Horse,Cowboy and Indian (in the style of old toy soldiers). I'm not exactly sure what the plot is, something about getting their house back, or bricks or something. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this if you've got kids who can read subtitles, or just feel like watching something totally random for an hour or so.
  10. Ahem...my registered card was out of date. Still Sony's fault though. *walks off with his tail between his legs.
  11. Son of a B*tch Sony. Take my money!

  12. I'm throwing money at Sony right now, but for whatever reason i'm getting error message after error message after error message. TAKE MY MONEY!
  13. COD: Declassified seems to be taking a bit of a beating on the internet this morning. Granted, the trailer wasn't fantastic but i can't help but feel its because its cool to hate on the COD franchise right now. I'll hold judgement until we see a little more of actual gameplay. The trailer did make me laugh though. "All New Covert Missions" immediately followed up by grenades blowing up and a guy going Rambo through a base. Very covert.
  14. I'd love to see a classic Resi game on the Vita. Speaking of which, what are the chances of the original games being available through the PSone support? Is there a chance i'll get my fix that way or should i just accept its not going to happen any time soon? Cross-Buy is an idea we've pretty much accepted needed to happen. However i hope Sony don't go overboard with it. Offering the games as a double is nice, but if they go too far it might damage people's perception of the Vita. Sly Cooper is a game i've got a fair amount of interest in. I've never played a Sly game before, but from what i see it looks pretty nice. Same goes with Ratchet. I'm excited. Genuinely so.
  15. Its the first time since launch day that i'm excited for the future of this system. For one, i might finally get to play FF7 through to completion...on the bus.
  16. Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) has definitely still got it.
  17. Ouya is actually taking proper pre orders now. Will anyone be making the no-risk option to buy it?

Interested as an observer, but not a consumer. Kind of reminds me of the GP32.

I agree with fuckikoma. It's a cool thing, but it doesn't do anything that I actually want to have.

  18. I can see what he's saying, I think. For me a 'Guilty Pleasure' is something that I really shouldn't enjoy, but do. However I probably wouldn't tell anyone about it. Examples being Katherine Heigl movies, and Lava Lamps. Yes, I like Lava Lamps. Regardless, if you enjoy a film then enjoy it. There's no need to feel bad about it.
  19. NHL 13 can't come soon enough. And with the prospects of a Lockout, it might be all the Hockey we get this year.

  20. I've been meaning to see that for years. As for me. On Monday i watched Rear Window which rightfully deserves its classic tag. It was fantastic. Enjoyable plot, great characters and a little bit more humour than i was expecting. A definite recommendation.
  21. I got a little emotional whilst watching Sir Chris Hoy pick up his medal. I honestly didn't think he'd be able to pull the leader back on that last bend. Coupled with the crowd and Hoy's tears, i could feel myself welling up. Well done Sir Chris.
  22. Strangers Wrath and Munch's Odyssey. Has anyone played Puddle? It's been on PSN for a week or two now. There's a Demo available if you're interested in trying it out.
  23. Good news for fans of the Oddworld series. Looks like we won't have too much longer to wait before we can get our grubby mitts on the Vita versions. Source - Oddworld Inhabitants (Devs) Facebook Page
