oh gosh i hope it is. my non-fic stuff tends to be a combo of mad max and romance... which is more embarrassing than it sounds when ppl read it. i hope to get some good stuff from you two out of this as well tho!

oooh after reading more i likes this thread. and i'll hopefully post more. i seriously have not ever had ppl i don't know read something i've written for like years so i hopes this is a good slithy development. i started a creative writing degree then finished as paralegal, and my writing in my college career was mostly non-fiction which i already know i can write well.

i'm gonna have to admit i haven't read either of yrs yet, but i am too drinky hyper to do so and i will read when i'm mature enough to comment.

when i was 12 i was like amazing at that. now i've got too many words in my brain to be so effective.

i dunno what it is either, but it is like the poem of me. i have written so many things but if someone asks what i'm like that's it.

oh! my favorite poem i wrote ever is really short and sweet and at this point really old but i loves it.

assuming they keep those same covers i'm having the opposite problem.

i prefer the 360 cover but we all know if they give this a US release the two covers will change and be worse regardless.

yeah, it was much more acceptable in vr than it was for the pusher films. even if he'd made the pusher films more about taking / being on drugs than about the things that were happening it would have been more acceptable, but it wasn't really. so far the half of 3 that i've watched is the only one that really touches on that pretty obviously, which is why i think i'm liking it more. it makes more sense, and the lack of cohesion fits much more. i'm not wondering. oh, and edit for pones if she makes her way back to the mm thread. you totes want to hug mm in pusher II too. this guy really needs hugs.

pusher II has been watched. by me. it was ok, i mean the entire thing was about mm's character so there was enough mm to be had by all. mm tush even! but there was like little to no wrapping up from one movie to the other in terms of context, which bothered me a tad. nwr leaves things a bit too open ended for me sometimes, he did this in valhalla rising too and i think i can better articulate what about it bothers me now after watching pusher II. w/out putting things in proper context i spend too much time wondering about which one of a dozen or so things could have just happened to put these people in this place and i don't get as immersed as i feel like i should. he creates these sincerely wonderful moods and realistic feeling places/people but kinds of jams them together in such a way that instead of getting lost in them i spend my time analyzing them. if there was just a tad bit more information on what is actually happening i feel like it would all work 10x better, because my mind wouldn't be trying to compensate for the lost information. if i didn't feel the same way w/ valhalla rising i'd totally chalk it up bad translation, because in certain bits that is what it felt like, but it seems to be something that nwr just does. edit: also pusher 3 doesn't actually have mm in it. netflix lies. i'm watching it anyway and enjoying it so far more so than the other 2 movies, even w/out mm. go fig.

toe shoes or pointe shoes they're called. and yes, they hurt when you get kicked by them. they're wooden at the end.

my feet don't like being imprisoned. i used to do ballet when i was younger, i think this has to do with that somehow.

still going strong here in central mass. it's actually prolly more snow than they told us we were going to get if you ask me. and to clarify, no work pants today. alas, it's too chilly to go completely pantsless, but they are pj pants. it's actually gotten chilly enough in here that i'm wearing slippers, which is tragic. i mean, if i have to choose footwear slippers are right up there but still, it's no barefeet.

heh, being a masshole is pretty awesome. it didn't start snowing here until about midnight. in western mass you guys should be getting less than here, so it might not be so bad where you are. also, no pants today. woo!

that's how i'm gonna kick it

yeah, i normally love working from home as i get way more done and don't have to wear real pants(they used to let us work from home all the time before some jerks ruined it for everyone, i was so efficient at everything back then!!) but i was kind of looking forward to sitting home and playing videogames all day tomorrow. the stupid ass thing about my work is that they always tell us we have to use PTO if we can't make it in and then they always always tell us to work from home anyway. it's like, why make the big deal out of it if you're going to just give in anyway? jerks. /rant over

well my work is wishy washy and always tells us we have to use PTO for snow days and then totes lets us work from home because no one comes into the office. so knowing my luck i'll be all set to play some 3 dot game heroes and get a call telling me to log onto my computer and work edit to remove unintentionally sexy typo
