  1. ololololol.
  2. I'm not really concerned about this port business. They seem to have a good pedigree. It also appears that Eidos are still the ones working on a PC-suitable UI as well as refining the controls and AI. I think it was mentioned, but there's a section on the PC port in an interview with Dugas here: http://www.gamingexcellence.com/pc/features/74.shtml A bit more on the extra little PC stuff: http://www.neoseeker.com/news/15215-deus-ex-human-revolution-pc-sporting-dx-11-features-eyefinity-support/
  3. Yeah, I dislike the newer WMPs because of how it tags things like compilation albums. Couldn't seem to make it group one artist's song with the rest of theirs like I used to in WMP 9, just puts it all under 'Various Artists'.
  4. I've always stuck with my starter because they're obviously quite powerful. I guess it depends how you're covering all your bases. As you implied, Seismitoad would be good against electric pokemon, meaning no need for Excadrill. Samurott can learn Dig but Seismitoad gets STAB from ground and water moves so seems better equipped. It's not like you'd ever send Seismitoad out against a grass-type in the first place, so you don't have to worry about that. Now you're making me start to doubt my Dewott.
  5. The fact that it's highly quotable helps a lot.
  6. Odd topic. I'm 6 foot which I think is roughly 1.8 metres.
  7. Thanks, guys! Glad you like them. Some more. 1.06 - Broken 1.07 - Breathless 1.08 - Slaughterhouse

    Misinformation

If you want an idea of tabloid misinformation, you only have to know about the MMR stuff which newspapers were only too happy to spread (although I guess a lot of blame rests on Andrew Wakefield) as well as other things Ben Goldacre writes about. Most recently: http://www.badscience.net/2011/03/why-dont-journalists-link-to-primary-sources/#more-1997
  9. And I've heard very not good things about Homefront.
  10. The Big Lebowski is the greatest comedy film noir out there. You know, besides all those other comedy film noirs like Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid and...and...yeah.
  11. Well, yeah. I wasn't even directing them at anyone besides excalliburps. Just other things to consider instead of 'Crytek hates PS3'. Nihil just seems set on arguing over anything. I will say that calling anything 'retarded' in that sort of discussion still sounds childish.
  12. That's the sort of stuff I was avoiding mentioning/implying. I was trying to look at logical and 'innocent' reasons, is all. I guess you can call that playing devil's advocate, but I felt it's more just considering possibilities. Sure, dismiss them if you want (I'm not intimate with all the details) but calling people retarded or fanboys? Come on...
  13. It's not an argument. I'm not taking a fanboy stance. I own both consoles as well as PC, and I'm not even interested in the game. If you paid attention, you'd notice that I was against putting a fanboy slant on such an article. I'm just ruminating on reasons for the discrepancies between the betas on console. It's known that PS3 can be harder to program for. That could be why the 'beta' arrived a bit later. It could simply be that they didn't want to try and run two betas simultaneously, especially since Crytek are inexperienced at developing for consoles. As far as I'm aware, MS seems to have a bit more of an outreach in terms of helping developers get games working on LIVE (and since they charge for it, I guess that'd make sense). If anything, I'm encouraging an open mind when considering matters. If you want to contribute your own viewpoint, I welcome that; but some manners go a long way and attacking others for how you perceive them achieves nothing.
  14. Actually, I'm selling Inception a little short. It's not really about dreams as such but actual films. Since the whole thing is about suspension of disbelief and staging things and author control. Which is actually quite clever. The Prestige was along the same lines in a way too.
  15. It's common knowledge that the PS3 has more complicated architecture to develop for. Plus, MS has the LIVE network functionality working smoother than the PSN. Could partly explain the delays and problems.
  16. My friend told me he liked MacGruber (which surprised me). I'm not even convinced Will Forte can be funny. And, yeah, Inception is pretty much a heist movie and still very much a blockbuster film. Nothing too intellectual there.
  17. Here are more. Just for you, Kenshi! 1.04 - Just One Kiss 1.05 - Ashes To Ashes
  18. I mean, you can't really beat this, can you?
  19. I saw that the other day and thought it was some weird cosplay before a friend linked it last night (as well as the Dark Knight Rises news). I don't really care for Wonder Woman and it looks dumb.
  20. Love the song. Wish I could get the full album for a reasonable price.
  21. Play.com had too many DVDs for £3. I couldn't help myself. - Batman: Mask of the Phantasm - The Big Sleep - Planes, Trains & Automobiles - I Love You, Man - Serpico
  22. Well, if you compare the American and British dictionaries it's considered a difference in certain instances. In technical terms, English seems to consider it ages 4-8 and we do have 'Infant Schools' which I think cover those ages. The closest American equivalent would be a 'minor' (although I think that extends right up to adulthood). But in development terms, an infant would be how most of us perceive it.
