The only other thing I'm aware of was that thing to do with the Geth messing with stars and making them unstable, maybe so they possibly explode. Which vaguely reminds me of some Ultimate Extinction storyline where Reed Richards uses the energy from some other universe's 'big bang' to repel Galactus (shown as a horde of planet-eating creatures). Not sure how that would work in Mass Effect though. The very nature of 'leaving an opening' runs contrary to what an actual deus ex machina is. Considering what has been going on across two games already there must be at least some grounding for what defeats the reapers. It's not like some magic new alien army will warp in through an as yet undiscovered relay and save the day...right?

I don't think your pokemon should be massively flawed in any aspect because of something you've done wrong. Natures and such can affect what sort of stats they wind up with, but that's more of a high-level competitive play thing. I think one of the most important things to pay attention to is simply checking whether a particular pokemon is better at Attack or Special Attack. Then you know whether Physical moves or Special moves work better for them.

That is a bit of an odd setup, and you're even using a legendary. Surprised your Samurott did not see you through though. I think a Throh has been a real boon to my team though. Not only for going against normal types (like annoying Watchogs and Herdiers...and that bloody Stoutland) but other ones I might not be covered for. I got up the tower with: Dewott (evolved into a Samurott near the top) Throh Krokorok Unfezant Darmanitan Munna (I only really use that to catch wild pokemon. Should probably switch it out soon though, starting to show its weakness). They worked pretty well for most areas so far, although I'm definitely gonna have to switch some for the next gym. Not decided which electric pokemon to use (Emolga might be good...) and I'm considering using that bloody ice-cream again.

Really? I found it quite simple, especially since there's a nurse before the 'pro trainers'. But then I did have my Dewott and Krokorok.

That's not art. That's artrocious.

I thought it was the 'rude stuff' board more than just spam (which some of the threads obviously were).
-
I don't think calling it a 'spam board' particularly helped matters.

The fact that you weren't here is why I found it quite funny.

All that postcount bullshit is part of what fractured the 'original' community here.

I think the new one might be quite good (I think it's at least partially based off the book that 'inspired' Monkey Island). The other two had great visuals and music but they just went on and on without a decent sense of pace or adventure. I think I'm just a little over-bitter with them because it was when the third was coming out that my friend said we should go see it and, because I hadn't seen the second, he lent me the DVD. He'd told me they were good, but I foolishly left watching the second until the same day as we saw the third. So it was too late to back out and I wound up seeing two shit and overlong films in one day. Felt like such a waste too.

I'd like to pretend the others don't exist.

Watched I Love You, Man. Really enjoyed it.

He used to look up to you, Dean. Now he only does it literally.

Americana by The Offspring. Not because of Pretty Fly (For A White Guy). When I first heard that song it made me think they were a band like Chumbawamba (who are apparently not very silly beyond their most popular single either). It was after hearing the album at a friend's that I really liked it. Got Smash and Ignition shortly after that.

If you want proof of how seriously we take the Olympics, here, check this BBC comedy. (I'm aware Australia had the concept first, before their hosting of the Olympics)

I thought lush for a drunkard was a noun though. Other lush is an adjective.

Some of the changes in design from Platinum are annoying. I'm not even sure it actually improves on anything beyond being able to register more than one item, but even that's a nuisance because of how it's implemented. You have to keep opening your registered item menu to equip the dowsing machine or your bicycle if you just happened to want to switch round pokeymans or do pretty much anything involving a menu. I also liked having that wheel you can spin with the stylus to scroll faster.

Might need to turn your speakers down

Haxorus looks a bit like Halo's Arbiter thanks to its armour.

Hmm, when I get my PC back, I'll have to look into how it sorts it because as far as I'm aware, the main artist list goes by Album Artist. If I could find a way for it to use Artist as the main list instead, that would be handy.

Johnny's first line says that he's been playing the MP demo. How can you expect anything he's saying to be about the whole game?
