I disagree. I think the point of a ratings system is to show how a certain comment is viewed by the community at large. With the current rations I hardly ever see any ratings on posts, and when I do it's just +1 or +2 votes. Pos reps will always be a reward, but HIGH pos reps will only accumulate on the best comments.

Well, I said 50 because I don't want to run out of them. I think per day I see about 20-30 comments I would like to vote up.

I don't think putting Bouchart in a dog house will make him calm down. Quite the opposite, actually. @Admins: I've seen several people thinking out loud about this in other threads, but how would you guys feel about giving us more positive/negative votes per day? The current ration seems very limited and I often see great posts later in the day that I am unable to vote for because I already used all of mine. This is just a suggestion, but how about 50 positive votes and 10 negatives per day? This sounds like a lot, but it would give us the opportunity to hand out all the votes we want without being able to abuse it. I also personally wouldn't mind if giving ratings only gave TAY points to the receiver, not the giver.

Yeah, I didn't want to bother explaining the difference between UTC and GMT. If anyone's interested, they can look it up on Wikipedia. I guess you're right though, UTC would make more sense once we start switching to and from daylight savings time. I wouldn't mind editing the OP to refer to UTC instead of GMT, but yeah... Too late.

And you still have the Fallout 3 CE that you never played. I only get excited for Collector's Editions when they're sequels to a game that I loved, and they MUST have something small like a statuette or a plushie. I don't care for making-of DVDs or art booklets, or huge items like a helmet or night-vision goggles. I'm still bummed I didn't pick up the MH Tri CE: Then again, I don't think I would have used that Wii Speak much if at all. That Lagiacrus bust (and the Rathalos that came with a pre-order) is awesome, though. All I got was a Qurupeco for registering my copy at Club Nintendo... Lame.

There always seems to be confusion when planning events with people from across the pond. This is the thread where we put an end to that. I've been using GMT (aka UTC) when planning events, but since that's based on UK time, I imagine it can be confusing for our American friends. They can go to this site to check out what their local GMT is. Just click on TIME IN EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD and select your country from the drop-down menu. Selecting UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) takes you to a page where you can select your state. Once you figure out your location's GMT, post it here so I can make a list of GMT zones that are relevant to TAY users. UK: GMT (12:00) Netherlands: GMT+1 (13:00)
